Perdue Oxycontin Coming Back?

Does anyone know whether Purdue has had enough calls to go back to the old oxy's?

It will sadly take 10s of thousands of offical complaints and/or that so many outraged patients call their phones lines 24/7, effectivly crashing their phone lines, that they will wake up to the facts that they will be getting hit with HUGE lawsuits when some smart attoreny finds out about it (phone lines being crashed due to massive outcry by people)

So let's hope that everyone will constantly call them and don't stop until your hands hurt calling.

I called Purdue today and got the run around! Spoke with three people including the pharmacist. He told me that they had NO intension of going back to the old oxy's. He said there are other meds out there to take. I told him excuse me but I have liver disease and therefore I don't have alot of choices. He told me to get up in the middle of the night to take and extra oxy, instead of waiting till the morning. Sleeping all night without the oxy is causing my problem. So I am to set my alarm to take the meds in the middle of the night, and then go back to sleep! Yea like that is gonna help. They don't work during the DAY! So what are we gonna do to get them to reverse this? Please someone give me an idea. I'll take any advise anyone has. Thanks!

What is Perdu's phone line number??? The really sad thing is, they are Ineffective for pain...I feel you-all...... Thank-God there is some other meds for pain...When the old generic's were out, the Doctor had to get my medical records from the hospital where I had a bowel blockage and hemmoraged. Woke up 3 days later when they were giving me transfusions. From there on I had to have Brand only...this new formula not only is it a joke, but very dangerous for people!!! On another note I told my new Dr. about this and he still prescribed it...I called and they told me I was the 4th patient to call in and Thank God they fired him!!! I have been diagnosis with Ichemia Bowel. First time it happened they had to do emergency surgery & bowel resection. Sd it would probably never happen again, but now it's been like 7 times, and I told this Dr. this...STUPID!!! He still prescribed it. AND the OP's don't work at all!!!

Don't call Perdue. Call Perdue is asking fox about the health of the chickens. File adverse report with FDA. I harmed contact your lawyer.

Yes, I am afraid the it will take many, may such complaints, to both the FDA and Purdue to result in any changes, just as lefthand stated.

Even then, if may just result in a reformulation of the reformulation, there is no guarantee that they will ever go back to the original product formulation.

hi i would like to know if there is anyway of getting the old style oxycontin 80 mg pills?I have 3 buldging discs in my back.I was perscribed the old ones for yrs and now im perscribed the op's.please advise anyone.Or i should say anyone that really knows.Dont need any educated guess just real answers.
