Percogesic And Aleve

I recently bought percogesic for a severe back injury as instructed by my doctor. He also told me to take aleve. Does this mean I should be taking them both or just one or the other? I tried just the percogesic annd it didn't help much. Is it safe to take them both at the same time?

Based on my research there are no drug interactions found between the active ingredients in Percogesic and Aleve. This does not necessarily mean no interactions exist, but my sources state that every effort has been made to ensure that the information provided is accurate.

That said, "in my opinion", it is safe to take these medications together, since they are not reported to interact with each other. As far as dosing goes, I would continue what your doing and take both as prescribed or as indicated on the label.
