I am in search of this particular generic brand in the Palm Beach, FLA. Area. My Publix pharmacy does not stock this brand anymore and thus switched to a different generic brand.
UpdatedIf anyone could help me with just these two...Rhodes or Endo - as those are the only choices I have for right now, I'd greatly appreciate it. I take 7.5mg Percocet and the pharmacy I usually go to does not have what I've been taking, so now I only have the choice of Rhodes or Endo, and that is it. Thanks for any help in this matter. Take care. ## I wanted to add that I tried the Rhodes 7.5 and they did not seem to work as well as what I've been taking. So, that leaves only the, Endos. I cannot remember if they're suppose to work all that well or not so I need your help. Rhodes and Endos are the Only two choices I have, as they're the only one's the pharmacy's near me have. I'd appreciate any input you have on these two Mfg.s very much. I see my pain docto...
Knowing that generic pharmaceutical manufacturers can vary principle ingredient(s) by as much as -20% (i.e. minus 20%), I am attempting to find a generic producer of Percocet that has proven to be beneficial for others in situations like or similar to mine. As a result of a hard fall, I sustained an injury called spondylolethesis (i.e. shifting vertebrae) from L4, L5, & S1. Corrective surgery was required involving a ventral incision below navel and two dorsal incisions on either side of lumbar spine in order to install the appropriate orthopedic spine hardware (e.g. screws, rods, posts, etc.). Six days after hospital release (12 days post-op) had to return to hospital ER due to incision inflammation and increased pain. Morphine was substituted for Percocet. Knowing their are a good...
small round pill with watson 364 on one side and number 75 on one side. is this a percocet 7.5? ## THE PILL YOU DESCRIBED IS NOT PERCOCET AS I HAVE TAKEN OXCODONE/PERCOCET made FROM VARIOUS COMPANIES and THE PILLS CAN BE ROUND or OBLONG BUT ARE MUCH LARGER THAN WHAT YOU DESCRIBE...I WOULD GO TO ANY DRUGSTORE and ASK THE PHARMACIST or LOOK IN A PILL BOOK which ARE ALWAYS NEAR THE PHARAMCY COUNTER. GOOD LUCK but YOU DO NOT HAVE PERCOCET!! ## Watson Pharmaceuticals lists this tablet as containing 7.5mgs of Clorazepate. NDC: 00591-0364 It is a benzodiazepine which is most commonly used to treat anxiety, and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, and mood changes. It is not commonly used, anymore. Is there anyth...
I was given a white oblong pill with just a 5 on it. I was told it was an opioid. A percocet 10 mg. It's driving me mad that I can't figure this out!! Someone please help. ## Jay, a 5 denotes 5mg, not 10 mg. At least with any pain meds I know. Just saying.
I have been taking generic Watson for two torn meniscus surgeries including taking the brand. After getting this latest prescription filled by ALEVGON there is a serious problem with the medication. I consulted both of my nephews who are chief pharmacists at top philadelphia hospitals and they both explained that not only the binders different but there is a sliding scale that each generic company can use which takes the narcotic pain reliever as far down as 85 percent! With that said in addition to the first pill taken i became violently ill, throwing up and dizzy! Believe me no matter what anyone says just ask a pharmacist and he will be very clear on this and other manufactures which included Mallenkorpt which was recalled last year pulling the same crap. I emailed the manufactor thi...
My pharmacy switched to Mallinkrodt generic percocet 10/325. After 3 months of taking them my wrists are stiff; my outer side of hands, pinky & ring fingers have gone totally numb! Also, little to NO pain relief, withdrawal symptoms ie; like the flu, exhaustion, episodic sweating, nausea...as if I’m taking a fake pill! I’ve been a legit CP PATIENT for 20 years; never a problem. Last 2 yrs every generic percocet has very odd side effects. My whole life & persona has drastically changed. Hard to function. What has obviously been added/subtracted, changed in the formulations? Is anyone else experiencing this or am I losing my mind? Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer me some advice &/or facts. ## Regarding the numbness, you should really have that checked out ...
Why have the blue specks in Percocet been added? When wet my tongue turned bright blue... ## I'm sorry, but I don't have any listings of a Percocet that matches this description. Can you please post back with more details? What are the markings on the tablet? The FDA warns that Percocet carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Are you sure it isn't Vicodin, or Lortab, which contains Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen? There is a tablet that contains those ingredients that has blue specks in it. Can you please double check and post back? Thank you! ## It is a white tablet scored and other side has the t192. Prescription bottle says oxycodone/acetaminophen 5-325mg tablet. Also says mpg ca...
I’m in Lake Charles and my Doctor stopped my Percocet 10/325 mainly because I was complaining about it no longer working. Different manufacturers & fillers I believe. Anyway I’m currently on SSI Disability for my chronic pain and since stopping the Oxycodone last August I’ve had no quality of life. I can’t sleep well because of pain and can’t wait even do Daily living activities. New Doctor just kept pushing Gabapentin and different antidepressants, plus I’ve tried Lyrica & Cymbalta with horrible side effects from all. They’re trying to make me crazy. I don't even care if it’s Oxycodone. I’d rather have something that’s extended release. I’m in Lake Charles if anyone knows who may help me close by and not judg...
The pill is white oblong and has L484 on it. Is it percocet? ## White oblong pill with L484 on one side. I was told it was percocets but not really sure. Please help ## Hi Liz, I believe I have identified your pill as 500 mg of Acetaminophen manufactured by Kroger with a National Drug Code of 30142-0484. Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) is classified as a mild analgesic. It is commonly used for the relief of headaches and other minor aches and pains and is a major ingredient in numerous cold and flu remedies. In combination with opioid analgesics, paracetamol can also be used in the management of more severe pain such as post-surgical pain and providing palliative care in advanced cancer patients. Though acetaminophen is used to treat inflammatory pain, it is not generally classified as an N...
Has anyone taken the yellow oblong/oval T 154 pill? I have been on Percocets for over 5 years and have never seen this pill. Can anyone help me? ## Is the marking possibly T 194? Can you please double check and post back? If so, it is manufactured by Camber Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, which is a generic for Percocet. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. (NDC code: 31722-0194) This medication is most commonly used to treat moderate to severe pain, and requires a doctor's prescription. Does this match your normal dosing? ## Here is my question. I take these t194 four times a day for many ...
Hi everyone i'm new to this site so i'm not sure if i'm posting in the right section or not, but anyways here i go... My regular Dr. that i see every month for both percocet and xanax has been out of his his office for 3 weeks now. I'm now completely out of medication so i called the covering dr and his staff informed me that he is not writing out any prescriptions for my doctors patients. I have horrible anxiety and panic attacks as well as a bad back and problems with both hips. I'm in so much pain. My Dr was due to come back on the 1st, then it changed to the 7th, then the 14th, and now as i found out today the 21st. I keep getting told i need to wait for him to come back but that day keeps changing. I'm so upset, i feel like i've tried everything and ther...
I got a report to read from the FDA sent from the DEA on generic Percocet from a friend's family member that works for the FDA. The report said that in their discussions they came up with a plan to stop people from dying from overdoses & addiction. Said Generic Percocet is the most abused medicine on the market. They have in place a 20% tolerance on generic pain medication and they deemed this wasn't helping the abuse of Percocet. People have been complaining in the thousands about Rhodes Pharmaceuticals and others not putting the correct amount of opioid in generic Percocet plus it seems to be making people sick. In the report not only are they decreasing the 20%, but also adding 50% to the 20% so you're getting 70% less of the active ingredient in Rhodes/Purdue Pharmac...
Hello gang: I would like to compile a comprehensive list of the type of percocet you are taking, as well as where you are getting them from. As many people prefer certain brands, I thought this would be helpful. If possible, please add your entry to this thread in the following format. I will begin first, of course. In no particular order :) Manuf. & strengthImprintPurchased FromRegionActivis - 10/325A233TargetSE USAAmneal - 10/325IP204WalmartSE USAAmneal - 10/325IP204WinnDixieSE USAMallinckrodt - 10/325M523CostcoSE USAAlvogen - 10/325230PublixSE USA That is all. Thanks! ## I haven't had personal experience with Percocet, but after seeing all the complaints against Actavis and Mallinckrodt I think any other brands would be worth looking into. Endo Pharmaceuticals seems to have a...
Hello all, First off I'm new to posting here and I must admit this is probably a topic that is quite frequent and I have done days searching but can't seem to really find any info on my specific situation. I apologize in advance for the long post but I will introduce myself and situation. I've been on oxycodone 10/325 for a little over a year now from a botched foot surgery and diabetic neuropathy in this same foot. It helps tremendously and seems to be the only relief I can get is from taking these. Whether its first thing in the morning to be able to stand up and get moving or whether it's to let me settle down and drift off to sleep which is something fairly hard to do. I also was recently diagnosed with PTSD from my job and I am currently out of work for this. It is ...
I have a torn disc, herniated disc, buldging disc, dislocated collarbone, sciatica and carpal tunnel. I had the carpal tunnel surgery and sounal fusion to remove torn disc and replace with titanium rods and screws. The only meds that work is the ENDOCET 10/325 an Valium 2.5. Trying ALVOGEN today for the first time, literally 2 hrs ago. So far ok. HOWEVER, you all are correct. If the manufacturer is not good forget about it. I took qualitest and had sweats worse than a basketball player and AMNEAL was like eating tic-tacs. The ENDOCET not only did the job but I too was left with a few extras for my next dr visit. These manufacturers care about 1 thing $$$. After the AMNEAL and QUALITEST nightmare, I wrote the FDA and the manufacturer and let my pharmacist know if thats what you have I...
Man I had four different genetic brands. Now taking alvogen 10 325. Percocet 10. man no wonder there so many people killing themselves. everyones genetic med r different. S*** what happen to DuPont they too big to keep customers happy? I had enough. I'm going to ask my doctor to give me morphine. Or back on methadone. Even though they are hard to get off of. That makes five different types of Percocet 10 I had. Watson is the only way. I just do not understand. I guess I have to look overseas. Usa meds suck ## @James, You know big pharma is really making things difficult for pain patients, especially when pharmacies keep switching between different manufacturers to try and save a few bucks out of the hundreds of millions they make in profit every year. If you're able to it sounds...
I am rx'ed ms-contin 30mg & percocet 10mg by my pain dr. My question is, since percocet and oxycontin have the same main ingredient in them except the apap that is in the percocet, will it show up the same on a u/a for the pain clinic? ## Yes, since they both contain Oxycodone, a test that checks for the specific opiate and its metabolites will show them both as being the same thing. What you could run into, however, is a problem if you have been taking more than the amount prescribed. Most pain management clinics use tests that also show the level of the opiate(s) in your body, to make sure you are using them as prescribed. They will expect the levels to be in a certain range, so if they are higher than the expected amounts, it could cause you a problem. Are there any other que...
I am currently taking percocet 10 mg that are prescribed by a dr for back pain. I have a drug screening this friday. I have run out of my pills and was wondering if I took a few percocet 7.5 mg, would they show up as something different. Essentially I need to know if there is any difference at all between percocet 10 mg and percocet 7.5 other than the strength ## Oxycodone is the active narcotic in both, just in a different amount, so in that respect you will be fine. However, where you may run into a problem is if they are also looking at the levels of the medication in your body. When you have been prescribed a certain amount, at certain dosage intervals, your doctor knows what range your level should fall in, based on your body weight, overall health and etc. Anything outside of that...
I have orange oval shaped tablets about the size of a vitamin that were in a clear packet with pink foil that u push them out of. All I could see was /325 on the back of the packet. Almost like a burnt orange color. They are supposed to be Percocet. Can anyone confirm? ## Does Percocet make a round orange pill? I have never seen one but a friend of mine says that there is an orange Percocet. Is this true? ## Hello Marty Mcfly, According to the FDA Regulations Title 21 "Unless exempted under 206.7, no drug product in solid oral dosage form may be introduced or delivered for introduction into interstate commerce unless it is clearly marked or imprinted with a code imprint that, in conjunction with the product's size, shape, and color, permits the unique identification of the drug ...
