Percocet Alternatives And Best Rated Generics (Top voted first)
UpdatedKnowing that generic pharmaceutical manufacturers can vary principle ingredient(s) by as much as -20% (i.e. minus 20%), I am attempting to find a generic producer of Percocet that has proven to be beneficial for others in situations like or similar to mine.
As a result of a hard fall, I sustained an injury called spondylolethesis (i.e. shifting vertebrae) from L4, L5, & S1. Corrective surgery was required involving a ventral incision below navel and two dorsal incisions on either side of lumbar spine in order to install the appropriate orthopedic spine hardware (e.g. screws, rods, posts, etc.).
Six days after hospital release (12 days post-op) had to return to hospital ER due to incision inflammation and increased pain. Morphine was substituted for Percocet. Knowing their are a goodly number of generic Percocet manufacturers and several grades of this drug (i.e. 325-10, 325-7.5, & 325-5), I should greatly appreciate knowing the brand name readers found most effective. I'm recovering from spondylolisthesis surgery with single ventral incision and double dorsal incision.
Since the post-op pain has only increased from surgery 2 wks. ago, and the Percocet issued to me by hospital pharmacy (Mallinckrodt Pharmaceutical/325-5) has not been effective in mitigating both pain in ventral and dorsal areas, I am trying to determine if anyone has had experience with such generic brands as ALVOGEN, ENDOCET at the 10-325 or 7.5-325 dosages. My research is not restricted to these brands. Hence, if you anyone has been the beneficiary of a different generic Percocet I welcome your feedback.
Thank you

Im sorry to hear about your pain, may I ask why only percocet? I've head a lot of bad things with them as far as them not working at all to msking people sick. I suggest you go to oxycodone 10mg with no acetaminophen these seem to work across the board no matter the generic. plus you dont have to worry about injesting all that acetaminophen. That's my thought on it ive heard to many stories of the change to the generic percs that makes me stay far away from them I also suggest you find a pain management Dr. to go to who understands your pain and will be able to dork with you to fi d what suits you best. Good luck and keep us informed
All synthetic opiates have had the chemical matrix removed that causes oxytocin to be excreted from the pituitary gland making them 70+% less effective! Just another government scam pulled on suffering Americans so drug addicts can't feel high on our much needed narcotic analgesics to treat our severe pain! This occurred while Obama was president, but Trump has done nothing to correct this horrible injustice that's been done to us... My doctor told me until the American public is made fully aware of what the government did to destroy the quality of life for millions of legitimately suffering Americans. That this will continue for many more years until people figure out how much they've been lied to by the government, their agencies and the main stream news media! Like this was the first time or the last time they've all been caught in enormous lies...

Thank you very much for taking the time from your schedule to share this information with me. To say the least it is an "eye-opener".
