Peoples Experience On Adderall

My doctor prescribed me adderall because of some of the problems that I told her I was having. She said it seems like I am experienceing adult ADD. She told me that adderall would help but she wanted to see me back in one month to see how I was doing on it. I have not started taking it because the pharmacist said I had to have prior authorization to get it. The fact that I am having so much trouble getting it lets me know that it must be a pretty strong drug. Can someone tell me some stories about it from their personal experience?

I don't have any experience using it, but I can tell you about the drug itself and hopefully others that do use it or have used it will chime in, with their experiences.

Adderall contains mixed Amphetamine salts as the active ingredient, they are amphetamines and dextroamphetamines.

It can cause some side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, irritability and insomnia.

And since this class of medications are a controlled substance, that explains why you have to have prior authorization, in order to have the prescription covered.

well let me tell u i take 20mg twice a day once at three and one at 7 and i can tell u that it keeps u very aleart and aware of what is going on around u i am 26 and have been on it for about 3 months and it does great for me

I take Ritalin for my ADHD and it works just fine. It does the job. It is much lower strength than adderall.
