Pentrexyl For Toothache

I have a bad toothache and it's making my head and ear hurt can I take pentrexyl

Pentrexyl contains Ampicillin, which is an antibiotic, so it can be used to treat dental infections. The FDA classifies it as an antibiotic and its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

However, you need to check with your dentist to make sure that its due to an infection, because taking it, if you don't have one could result in your developing antibiotic resistant bacteria.

And, if you do have a dental infection, an antibiotic will not resolve whatever underlying issue caused the infection, such as a deep dental cary. That will still need to be corrected, or the infection will keep returning and worsening.

So are you saying that it is ok to take the pentrxyl ampicillian to get rid if my dental infection, and one it clears up I can see my dentist to have a tooth removed?
