The dosing guidelines say to take 2 tablets every 6 hours, but previously said 2 tablets four times a day. At 250mgs, how should I take these for tonsillitis? ## Hello, Kim! How are you? My best friend recently found out she had an std most likely gonorrhea she wanted to know if penicillin would clear it up completely ? ## Has she consulted her doctor? She should really do so to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. It isn't good to try to play a guessing game on what it is and self-treat. Yes, if it is an STD, there are many that Penicillin can clear up, but if isn't, then it may just make the problem worse.

I have 500 mg capsules of penicillin V.
