Penicilina Pomada Topical Antibiotic Ointment Availability

Please let me know where Penicilina Pomada may be purchased or if it's something that requires a prescription?

As to such a product, since it contains Penicillin, in the U.S. it is only available by prescription from your doctor.

It is an antibiotic and if use improperly, there is a risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria, which may be dangerous.

The brand you mentioned is from Mexico and it's available there over the counter, but not in the U.S., as I said.

Has your doctor recommended that you use it?

My husband went into a Latino grocery store and purchased this over the counter for $7.00 plus the pill form for an additional $8.00 for ten little white pills. It does work great for him. I on the other hand am allergic to the penicillin family.

I found it in December 2016 Mazatlan city center Pharmacy. I bought 5 for 20 pesos each. They are very hard to find. I searched for years, finally found it, and stocked up. I am sure the shop owner restocked too.
