Incorrect. TEVA began the aquisition of Actavis in July 2015 and completed it Aug. 2016. The below is copied from the TEVA Pharmaceutical website.

Do some research next time before you spew information with such obvious confidence. It misinforms others and doesn't help the goal of protecting or informing each other. Unless your intent is to protect TEVA.

We have absolutely no choice anymore! The ONLY answer is to get off of any medication that TEVA is making and claiming it is "Adderall" because I am NO FOOL! I have been prescribed Adderall for many years and 100% KNOW what my body feel like on and off of this medication! But whatever THEY are stuffing inside these pills so THEY can continue making millions IS DEFINITELY GOING TO LEAD TO SOME PEOPLE KILLING THEMSELVES TO GET AWAY FROM THIS NAUSEOUS EVERYDAY FEELING WITH A HEADACHE AND NO FEELING OF PRODUCTIVITY, OR FEELING OF WELL BEING LIKE THEY HAVE ALWAYS FELT BEFORE! This is NO way for a human to function every single day! This is like slow, miserable, painful, sickening death! Why have they done this? Is it because they thought that more children were on it and they wouldn't say anything, they would just endure it until they no longer couldn't and would wait for mom and dad to leave the house and HANG THEMSELVES!!!???

We KNOW this is not the medication we were prescribed originally, but those poor, poor children who don't know any better are being prescribed this medicine because they have some ADHD, BUT once they are given this cheap generic brand that has NONE of the active ingredient they claim, but some kind of sickening poison that will only make them feel worse- THOSE CHILDREN HAVE NO CLUE LIKE WE DO! They are trusting their parents who have no clue either! They think they are helping their children, and leaving their young lives in the hands of TEVA PHARMACEUTICAL AND THE FDA, and all they are going to do is hurt their children and make them sick to the point of thinking they are dying or the children just want to die! AM I MAKING ANY SENSE? DO YOU ALL BELIEVE ME? IS THIS HOW YOU FEEL TOO? I feel awful, sick to the stomach, I have a continual headache, no energy, no will to do anything but just do what I have to do because I HAVE to, I feel depressed, I have nothing in me to give to my children whom I love so much- because I keep HOPING TEVA HAS FINALLY MADE IT RIGHT! And this is how calm and organized we ALL ONCE FELT! IT WAS A WELL BEING FEELING. IT FELT GOID TO BE ALIVE! BUT NO MORE!

Instead of keeping the medicine THE WAY IT WAS they harmed us, took our money, we gave so much money each month to our doctors who wrote our RX, gave so much money to the pharmacist for the RX our Dr's prescribed, FOR WHAT? I have been having some bad side effects to Teva's B972, I can't finish a thought, I can't remember names/dates, disoriented, dizzy, nauseous, I get tired easily. I was on 10 MGs of E111's for 6 months which was working great, I felt like myself again, focused, etc etc. I only took 5 days a week, 2 days off on weekends, I don't want to be beholden to medication and my Dr said this was ok.

But then all of a sudden it didn't work, I looked at the pill and noticed it looked different. When I asked my Dr he said there are several different generics but it's the same ingredients. It's been two months with two different pills. So I pulled out the prescription forms (As the bottles look identical as well as the name), and I see that for the last three months they haven't been giving me what worked. It IS a different pill each time after I was on the same E111 pill for 6 months, they have given me U27 and B972 from TEVA which has not worked at all. So I do more digging on the internet and I'm appalled, and call the pharmacist - when I ask why a generic is changed without informing a patient or the DR., they said that all generics are the same, but obviously scientifically this cannot be the case, just from a logical standpoint and from the testing you can find on the internet. They said they use whatever their supplier/manufacturer sends them (meaning cheaper I am guessing). They also said C2 Drugs are not highly regulated in NY - meaning manufacturers and pharmacists can use different generics as long as it's called the same thing, the supplier doesn't have to show proven results that it's the same and they don't have to inform us of this, they just put it in the fine print? Uhm what? There is the FDA's Approved Drug Products with Therapeutic Equivalence, but I can't seem to find the two pills to compare. If we are not able to stay on the exact same drug while in treatment or not even be informed of this it's really alarming. Anyone notice the change in generic drug correlates with the increased side effects or need for change in prescription?

No, they are making this trash with less active ingredients and pocketing the profit. Then, they are hoping that you will be prescribed Vyvanse (its new and the psychiatrist will offer it... to solve your adderall issues), which Teva has a huge amount of its active ingredients....already purchased by them, allocated by the DEA. However, they claim to have an adderall "shortage". The shortage was created by Shire to maximize profit and to have everyone switch to their new ADHD medicine. Which...didn't happen, so they all just crank out trash meds and rake in all the profit. It is more profitable to leave out the most expensive, active, ingredients. Do you need to see the literature? Try looking it up before you ask me to provide it. It is easy to find.

Teva is absolutely not made by Actavis. These are all together two different drug companies. Not sure where this idea is coming from. As a matter of fact Teva is in the middle of a $40.5 billion dollar buyout for Actavis. How would Teva buy Actavis if they were working together? Teva is buying Actavis because 1. They are worth over ten times what Actavis is. 2. Look up how much money Actavis has lost in the last two years because of prescription recalls alone. They can't afford not to sell.

Please, please quit taking anything from TEVA. Any meds they dispense to me with this brand TEVA does not work on anyone or any pet. They may even be dangerous. I use Pliva instead and have no issues. Check with your pharmacy and see which brand they carry. Some carry both. Also think about a compounding pharmacy.

Actavis, generic adderall xr 30mg... sick on stomach, thrown up a couple of times, grinding teeth, depressed crying, terrible heart burn, weak and can feel heart beat in chest! What is this poison?

Teva is its own manufacturer. Activis is a separate manufacturer. This person isn't talking about teva probably activis. I've heard bad things about their adderall.

I've been taking peach oval b 973 20mg generic Adderall for 4 yrs.....worked great until March.....looked the same.... different taste.....felt hardly anything.... actually wondered if I just thought I took it, but forgot to......also nauseated.... depressed..... highly irritable..... Everyone noticed...... Everyone asked what's wrong? You're not Ur normal spunky self!?!?! It's definitely not the same as the last 4 years......tried white football R 351 20mg.....no better results.......has anyone found a better type that worked like the peach oval b 973 20mg I had gotten before they were Obviously changed????? Also lost my job because of my "new" attitude.......n irritability n lack of focus.....

What you said about the dosing makes complete sense, by the way. Amphetamines stay in your body for a very short time. (Thus the opportunity for Shire to create Adderall XR, which just releases half the amphetamines immediately and half after 4 hours.)

And if you weren't taking enough medication, it wasn't going to help you (or not enough).

I can't say specifically if those symptoms I've had in past are directly related to Adderall due to other things like menopause, & arthritis that cause same symptoms. I realized this after my post and much inner turmoil over which brand to seek out. I feel the Teva (Barr in past)is the one I've taken most and same as past ones. It's orange oval "football" shaped. I don't have bottle w me so no code sorry. My dr told me to get Barr many years ago so I've stuck with them. I know the round pink kind never seemed as strong to me. It seems to be working ok for me now. I do think I was under dosing myself in attempts to be conservative and that did me no favors. 3-6 hours after taking 30mg I need another dose of 15mg and if I don't take or wait too long ,it's not as effective, like it needs to build onto intial dose. By end of day I can take 1/4 of 30mg or 7.5mg with Good effectiveness, if timed correctly. Hope this helps someone.

Color?
Markings?
The NDC code would be great.

Is that medication the same as the one you are getting now?
If so, are those problems gone?
Are your ADHD symptoms under control with the medication that you're getting now?

Sorry for all the specific questions. I'm coming to the states for a visit, and I've got 2 weeks to try to find a generic Adderall IR medication that works.

Ok so I've been getting Teva from Walgreens and now WalMart 30mg IR and that seems to work for me. CVS had Corepharma. I'm in a Southeast borough of Pittsburgh, Pa.

I have been on generic Adderall XR for 2 years; but last week a Walgreens pharmacist told me that they just sell generic Adderall of Prasco! Has anyone been on Prasco so far? I have to get some information about possible side effects. Thanks in advance.

They are gamers. Hustlers. Very bad choices these companies make. Not only the brands are different so is the time line of when made. It seems a joke. The benefit is not out weighing the negatives. We get punished and they still get paid.

Ok so what the hell am I suppose to do or what generic am I to seek out? I also have used Barr/Teva for years and have noticed since summer of 2016 something is off. Nausea, fatigue, general malaise, not feeling normal when on the med like I used to.
I got maybe Mylan or corepharm available to me at CVS, which I don't think they worked well for me in past. The pink round flat ones? 30mg ir is what I need. PLEASE SOMEONE W ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE SHARE WHICH GENERIC TO SEEK OUT In May of 2017!
