It depends what you are referring to, since there is nothing called Pearl Pills.
There is, however, a product available in the U.S. called Tussalon Pearls, which are used for severe coughing.
They contain the active ingredient Benzonatate, which is a local anesthetic, used to treat or prevent coughing.
It was originally approved by the U.S. FDA in 1958.
It may cause side effects, such as: nausea, drowsiness, numb tongue and numb throat.
