I have been on Paxil before- and it worked wonders for me. I have now been without it for a few years as I lost my health insurance and could not afford it. I found several websites that I can get it without an RX, but am wondering how safe that is. Has anyone purchased Paxil this way?

It is not safe, Paxil contains the active ingredient Paroxetine and, in the U.S., it requires a prescription. When you order from a website that doesn't require a prescription, they are usually of foreign origin and the medications have not been approved for safety and efficacy by the FDA.

It is available as a generic now, under the name of the active ingredient Paroxetine and a 30 day supply of the 40mg tablets only costs around $25 to $30.
