Pax Tablets

The doctor prescribed Pax 1 3 times a day. i am 5 weeks pregnant. Is it really safe?

Pax contains the active ingredient Diazepam and no, it is generally isn't recommended that it be used during pregnancy. In early pregnancy, it has been known to cause congenital malformations and in late pregnancy, the infant can be born with Benzodiazepine intoxication.
