Pasco Script Needs Filling Asap For Severe Pain (Top voted first)

My father is handicapped and can't get around well, even with all that I have been dragging him around for 2 weeks and cent find them anywhere. Would like to fill at Walgreens due to no money but at this point anywhere would be great! It's sickening watch an older man in so much pain and then going thru withdrawals. Could anyone help? I would be so thankful. We just had to put our dog down on Monday so its like one thing after another.

Aloha check with the state insurance, ask his doc if he knows of social help including help offered by the pharmaceutical co. they often give assistance to low income or uninsured ? walmart usually has generic for like 3 bucks or so ? but doc has to say a generic can be substituted.... another option is order from canada of if you are just a few hours away it's a great drive and often require no RX as they do here in the US

Thank u, I'm not worried about the price any more as long as I can get then filled somewhere in the pasco area... All I need is someone to tell me a pharmacy that has them now in pasco... Do u have of filled at Walmart before? An will they tell u over the fone

Yes I have many time and yes they will let you know over the phone you might also be able to fax or email the script in or have it transferred from another pharmacy if they need to confirm the script first but they never have ask this of me

Fred meyers maybe or phone the medical center / surgery center they always have a place to fill scripts in house

Generic Oxycodone/APAP: An Overview
Oxycodone/APAP (Endocet®, Magnacet™, Percocet®, Roxicet™, Tylox®) is a prescription medication. It contains two different active ingredients: oxycodone (a narcotic) and acetaminophen (Tylenol®, APAP). Generic oxycodone/APAP can be confusing, as some (but not all) of these medications come in generic form and because it can be difficult to tell if a product is a generic or a brand-name medication.

Generic vs. Brand-Name Oxycodone/APAP
Tylox, Percocet, and Magnacet products are brand-name medications. Endocet products are all generics. Roxicet tablets (but not Roxicet caplets and oral solution) are generics. Other products simply labeled with the generic name, such as oxycodone/APAP or oxycodone/acetaminophen, are generic products.

Which Generic Oxycodone/APAP Products Are Available?
The following medications have generic versions available:


Percocet (except the 2.5/325 mg strength)
Tylox
Roxicet oral solution.


Endocet and Roxicet tablets (but not caplets) are actually generics for Percocet. Magnacet products are not available in generic form.

Can I Get "Real" Percocet, Tylox, or Magnacet?
Many pharmacies do not stock brand-name Percocet or Tylox, because generic versions are significantly less expensive (and many insurance companies require people to use the generic products). Many pharmacies do not stock Magnacet due to low product demand. If you are willing to pay full price if your insurance will not cover brand-name products, your pharmacy may be willing to carry brand-name oxycodone/APAP for you.

However, many healthcare providers view requests for brand-name narcotics as a sign of abuse or diversion (selling the drugs to someone else), because brand-name narcotics usually have a higher street value than their generic versions. In almost all situations, a request for a brand-name narcotic instead of a generic may arouse your healthcare provider's suspicions.

If you can't find a pharmacy you can ask a pharmacist what is comparable and usually they will call the doc and ask for approval to substitute I've had to do that many a time Hawaii is worse than Fla any day although I'm still thinking west palm or St. Augustine is where I'll retire ... best of Luck to you 4 am here and time for bed for me

BEST OF LUCK ... I'd give the script to Walmart and have em fax a request for generic from the Doc writer then you should have it in a couppla hours

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, caring for a parent in pain and putting down a pet all in the same time frame would be very difficult.

If you can't get his prescriptions filled locally, would you be open to trying an online pharmacy that can ship you the meds? I personally haven't used this method for getting a prescription, but I know there are a handful of sites out there that are safe and legal to order from amongst the swarm of bad ones:
