Parkinson Tremors
UpdatedI have a patient who has Parkinson's and doesn't tremor until after she takes the mirapex. Shouldn't it be opposite? Shouldn't it stop tremors not start them?

Hello, Cathy! How is your patient?
Unfortunately, that can be a side effect of this medication, according to the U.S. FDA, along with nausea, confusion, cough, and double vision.
All medications carry the risk of causing side effects, no matter what the are intended to treat.
Is she on any other medications?
