Paragoric Taken While Pregnant

My name is Vikki I'm 38 yrs old, and I have a story and some questions. Start from the top, My mother took Paragoric while she was pregnant with me, and I need to know if anyone else as an adult exsperinces with feeling as though you lack something in your brain, meaning if my mother took paragoric the whole time she was pregnant with me could it be possible that as a adult I require this drug to feel normal.??? I am very troubled I dont feel normal unless im taking some kinda of pain meds, and i know it sounds as though i am addicted, but i insist i am not, I am tryting to find a connectiion between Paragoric and the brain. I can use all the information i can get.

I was given this drug as an infant and I too, sometimes feel detached. I have trouble staying on task, math, easily distracted, poor organizational and communication skills.
