Pantocid D Usage

What role does Pantocid D play in treating patients with gas problems? Could you please specify the appropriate dosage strength of this medicine? Also, how many times a day should it be taken by a 70-year-old patient like me? Please provide details.

Pantocid-D contains 10mgs of Domperidone and 20mgs of Pantoprazole. It is used to help prevent heartburn and GERD, but really doesn't have an effect on gas.

As a matter of fact, increased gas can be one of the side effects of these medications, as well as: nausea, drowsiness and dizziness.

If the condition you are referring to is Gastroparesis, which is a stomach motility problem, not actually a gas problem, then yes, it is used to treat that.

In most cases, it is taken once a day, before breakfast, however you should follow your doctor's instructions.
