Pain Related Meds

I am 69 years old; a double amputee (BK) I was born with CMT and have had heart-related surgery seven times. I am in chronic pain and live 42 miles from my doctor. I am suppose to be "shelter in place" as I am a high risk patient. Yet, I must drive to the doctor's office every time I need to fill my prescription because a "hard copy" is required by my pharmacy. Are there any other options.

Those who need to shelter in place are still allowed to leave the house to go to their doctor's appointments, if needed, as well as their pharmacy, grocery store, and etc. You just need to be extra careful about keeping your distance from other people, wash your hands regularly, and avoid touching your face.

However, you should consult your doctor, as they may have a plan in place to help keep you from having to go out too much. Many pharmacies also have a drive through, will bring your prescriptions out to you, or will deliver them, so you might want to check on those options, as well.
