Pain Medication Stronger Than Tramacet

I broke my ankle and foot on march 3rd of this year and it hasn't healed properly. I am getting much worst pain than usual and have a hard time walking a lot. I get a M.R.I on july 19 then will find out if I need surgery or not, but for now I am in so much pain. I have taken recently Tramacet at night time but I find the pain is still bad. In the morning I can't stand the pain so take like four or five Advil, which doesn't help only a just a little. What should I be asking for from my doctor? I don't know painkillers and am a recovering addict (alcohol).

I went to the doctor tonight to get a pain killer and she gave me ralivia and it is for a broken ankle i have been suffering for three months and will get my mri july to see what the heck is going on and why the pain so bad. I am back at wearing my aircast as my ankle hurts so much and i want to know about the pills anyone know please let me know
