Seeking a pain medicine doctor who will prescribe pain meds along the lines of Oxycodone/Roxicodone 30mgs in Philadelphia where i now reside.
I have recently in the last several months beginning with a slip and fall accident, prior to that years ago i had right knee surgery and last year had two surgeries on my right hand which lead to putting pins in and also out. Now my biggest issue is the chronic back and neck pain (which also i have a son who just turned two) i had an Orthopedic doctor in Philadelphia send me for MRI's that came to prove i have buldged/herniated discs in my neck/C3-C4,C4-C5 also lower lumbar/L5-S1, also two pinched nerves in lower back each side, a pinched nerve right side of neck down into my shoulder and they found carpel tunnel in my left arm/hand. (not to familiar with carpel tunnel, doing research now) i was living in new jersey and had prescribed pain medication from my Orthopedic doctor and was taking up to four 30 mg generic Roxicodone a day for my pain which has become chronic pain due to like i mentioned an accident.. Etc.

Hey, we are moving from Colorado to Pa and are prescribed pain meds and we are not sure what to do. I have very right right shoulder scapular winging and have been on my meds for 4-5 years. Any Chance you can help me with a doc that will take over?

I'm assuming that this "Lee" isn't answering our sincere requests for info because he probably doesn't exist. We all are refugees from doctors who once helped us but now these Doctors have become cowards to the government and are afraid to actually help anyone who is prescribed to anything above Vicodin. My doctor (Hartman) out of Lebanon lost his balls this year when out of the blue he decided to "Consolodate his Practice" when I've been seeing him for over 10yrs and had me on 8 60mg OPs and 8-10 Roxicodone 30s a day. He left me out to die pretty much because I'm still looking for a Doctor to has enough balls to continue the treatment plan that he had me on. And they wonder why there is a opioid epidemic. It's because good people are left out in the cold by their doctors and have no other choice. A lot of us could file "Patient Abandonment" cases on these Doctors and we really should. Good luck to all of you and please share any tips on Good Doctors who aren't afraid to help people.

Hi Lee, can you please give me the pain management dr.s info? My current dr. "Consolidated" his practice and left me high and dry, I've been on pain meds for over 15 yrs and have records to back it up. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated! I live in Berks County but will travel.

I'm dealing with debilitating OBGYN issues! My OBGYN told me today that I definitely NEED a pain specialist but I don't know of any... Willing to travel for a Dr that won't just scoff at me. Have plenty of medical records documenting the pain, problems, diagnostics & surgeries related. I'm 32yo & can't live this way anymore! If you could share his name with me I'd REALLY APPRECIATE IT!! Why are these people writing that they can help ya'all with a pain doc and then never give you the info! That's just as bad as a doctor suddenly stopping your meds! Geez!!! People, google Pain Management in your area or an area you can make it to and check out each PM's websites. They can tell you a lot of what is needed for you to get in with them, etc. It looks as though you cannot count on the people who are saying they can help you then never give you the info! That is cruel!! Anyway, give several pain management places a call. Not only them, but try different clinics and ask if any of the docs deal with chronic pain patients. That's how I found my GP who prescribes my meds. Good luck. I'm sorry I can't help you any more than this.
