Pain Management And The Law When Your Employer Drug Tests
UpdatedI have been on Oxycodone for 4 years, under treatment of pain management and have recently started a new job that requires a urinary drug test. My employer received a discount on his insurance for being a drug free work place. My question is if I get a note from my Dr explaining why I am on the opiate and take the drug test, what is the law in regards to the outcome? I am taking them due to a back problem that will never go away unless I receive surgery. Is this grounds for termination? Do I have any rights?
