Pain Dr

Just relocated and all pain management dr. have 2 month waiting list. Please help! Any primary care physician who will prescribe me my pain meds from old dr? I will be out before next week. I take 60 mg of OXYcontin 3 times day for 4 herniated disks in my back.

Any primary care doctor can prescribe them, you really just need to call around and find one that you can get in to see soon.

Your best bet is to not ask them over the phone if they will prescribe it, but just to set up the appointment and make sure that they get a full copy of your medical records. If you call and ask, they will usually see that as drug seeking behavior, so you won't even get in the door.

Does anyone know of a particular doctor they can suggest?
