I am a 34 year old female that has osteoporosis / bone disc degeneration disease, also hereditary problems. I am in pain constantly and need to find a doctor that will help me.

I live in Ohio my dr. Just retired does anyone know of any clinics in Kentucky or Ohio that prescribe oxycodone

His policies have changed. He will only prescribe 3 x a day now.

He has new policy of only 3 pills a day. Have been on 4 for 6 years. I understand drug abuse but what about those of us that need it to make it through the day

People with cancer most definitely can and do get pain medication. Their oncologist will simply refer them to Hospice and their team will take over the individual's pain management as well as other area's of their lives as needed.

Not any good ones, what about you?? I've been looking for too DAMN long, I went to a real good one on Pasadena Dr in Lexington till they kicked me out for not being able to make it to a PC due being in a hard C collar. Hope thus helps you out but I hope you've got some different info for me.

I went to the same place in Charleston, and I got the boot too. Thankful I felt it was coming so I'd cut myself back n did good until I found another dr. Problem now is here in same boat again, loosing my dr! Tired of being labeled because of the problems I have. Trust I'd love to be normal again! I don't over take my meds and have files of my records of the problems with MRI'S. We have no voice! I know cancer posted that can't get pain meds! That's just wrong! They worried about them getting addicted? Really? So any dr in Ky even Tennessee I'd be more than greatful! Ppl here wouldn't help ya unless you pay in pills and I'm not playing those games!!!!

I have begged my Dr's to do surgery on me. They refuse say that its only 50-50 chance of a little relief or make it worse. I hate it. I used to go to the Hope Clinic in Charleston Wv. I was getting a ridiculous tolerance so I weaned myself off and stopped going because they would not increase the dosage. They also had another clinic in Beckley. The only thing they were accomplishing was making sure I was hooked, like so many other poor souls that were "treated" there. It was very hard to stop going but so glad I had the chance to back off slowly. Two months after my last visit the DEA went in both places and completely shut them down. All of those people that they got dependent on opiates got the lives ruined that day. All they offered was referrals to rehab. How can this happen? Im sure a lot of them were just there for a fix or pay check for delivery of a contrrolled substance but many were not. In state patients were $170 out of state was $200. Strictly cash no checks, credit or debit, and no kind of insurance period. Greenbacks only. I calculated that 65% were out of state. They seen 100 patients per day 5 days a week for 6 years straight. Do the mait, it will be your homework for the day. No charges were filed no fines were given no licenses were lost. There were off duty police officers that worked there every day. They had specific titles that I have forgoten, basically they asked all the uncomfortable questions took your blood pressure n heart rate while asking if you abused or sold your medisold. Lie detectors moreless. Those exposed facts not even all of the facts, shows without reasonable doubt that its not just the druggys ruining descent peoples lives it goes much much deeper. Were talking corrupt local authorities, corrupt drug enforcement agents, corrupt doctors with affiliated corrupt pharmacist and the list goes on. I have bearly managed to cope with it and refused to treat my pain and lived a miserable two years for not wanting to contribute to this endless money hungry ridiculous excuse of a health care system. But I am to the point of not being able to live with the misery of chronic pain that I suffer along with the depression that comes with it and it is just as bad if not worse. I hate myself for not being able to be more of a man. Iv lost everything because of it and my wife that stood on the alter and said that she would be here for me when it got so unbearable that I couldn't do it all myself anymore and that she would take care of me then, is begging me for a divorce. Said she changed her mind she wants more out of life and to be taken care of not have to take care of someone. If I can't do it she wants out of the marrage so she can get another that can. Yes I would take the 50 50 chance in a heartbeat. Not an option though drugs have to be my life. This is what im stuck swallowing the rest of my life. That's the price descent civil people pay for greed, addiction, discrimination, corruption. Not enough left of me to rebuild a life again, physically, mentally, or emotionally. What am I supposed to do? I was born with a high tolerance, and a doctor won't understand that. If I can't get one that cares real soon im just going to have to hang it up. And if im condemned to hell at least its just me and not everyone else I love work and suffer for. ANYONE ANY IDEAS OR DESCENT DOCTOR READING THIS COULD HELP SHOULD HELP, they put me here. Its a very easy thing and it will change some peoples worlds. {edited for privacy}

Dr. Dart has forced Dr. Wilson out of practice, he was my doctor, now I am looking for someone to prescribe my meds, Dart set me up in pain clinic 3 months out, he wrote one script half my dose and won't write anymore, can't see pain doctor until October 25. Dr Wilson was great, he was my family doctor for years, miss him.

Oxymorphone 30mg er are like the old 80 oc thats the way to go have access to quite a bit. Here in ohio. They truly take any and ALL pain away not like all the revised pills they reformated these are all just the way they were before they were reformated.

I tell ya the best two I know of. Dr Horn in Danville Ky and Dr Wilson in Harrodsburg K . Neither is pain clinic but are very willing to help you.

I know this wont help most of you I live in Dallas Texas I have lost both
of my legs and have a bad back . I been off the 30 mg for a year but
I know 2 great pain doctors that will help you I was on 180 30 mg
it took time but I got off them if you ever come to Texas send me a
email with your number and I will give you there name and numbers
they are not pill pushers so bring prof I sent a friend there 2 month
ago and they helped him .

Did you find a doctor? Please let me know as I'm in a similar position. I've got 3 bulging discs, a pinched nerve and a few other things going on with my back and neck. I've tried everything from physical therapy to injections and no real relief. My doctor refused to give me any more of the pain meds he'd had me on unless I agreed to back surgery and at this time I don't want to do that and I feel he was only after insurance money. But anyway I've suffered ever since. So I thought someone out here could help me find doctor. Any info you may have would be greatly appreciated.
