Hello I take opana 40mg Er 3x daily with 8mg of deluded for break threw pain. I have l3-l5 fussed I have Ben on opana now for 6months before that mscontin and oxy. The opana does work for me with little to no side effects I have to agree with fellow commenters about the abuse of the drugs. All it does is make it hard on people like my self that suffer from chronic pain. It is good that they make the drugs more tamper proof but in some cases the drug failed to work because of the new formulation. ## @Bahm, In my honest opinion, it really comes down to just being open to other forms of treatment options so one isn't fully dependent upon big pharma (or any other single source of medication) to cover all their needs. Looking for a good new pain clinic that will prescribe me my medication (oxymorphone 30mg ER) and (oxycodone 30mg) ...I've lost my job over medical problems.I'm in process filing my SDI benefits.. But I still need my medication to be able to live and have a comfortable life..I have 2 small girls that I do everything I can for them but I just can't do the everyday normal life when Im miserable in PAIN..I have all records and MRI s just need a dr. I have been taking tramadol for about 8 years now. About 5 a day (50) mgs. Does anyone know if the withdrawals from tramadol would be better if I started taking paxil instead. I have never had a problem ordering tramadol online until now but I do have a Rx of paxil. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've been on oxycontin 80 mg for years, I suffer from severe degenerative disc disease and c.p. These new OPs are junk, its almost like they added rubber cement to the pills. Breaking them down w/sandpaper or a cheese gratter isnt going to do anything other than gum up as soon as it hits your nose, because u r haven't removed the time release from the pill. Heat and/or moisture are what cause it to gum up....all your gonna end up w/is a really expensive booger.... people have to figure out how to remove this new time release polymer. W/the old OCs u could remove the time realease by cooking crushed OC, the time release was more like a wax so it was possible to remove w/heat then cold...someone who understands chemical equations and formulas needs to take a look at the new formul...

I have severe migraines I am currently taking 100 mcg of Duragesic patch changed every 48 hours and 5 10mg Vicodin. I have have bad reactions to preventative medications, chiropractic antidepressants and have built up a tolerance to pain meds. My pain is so severe I can't keep my food down. Does any one know if there is a higher dosage of Duragesic/Fentynal that would help with the pain. This medication was approved recently. I was not even notified of the prescription change. I got my rx and realized it was there. Almost ran off the road, heavy sedation and shortness of breath. I have a hard time finding my old prescription. It does not have the same ingredients. Does it have fillers so that people can not abuse it? I know it's also cheaper for the pharmaceutical companies to produce. Anyone else noticed issues with this medication? ## Yes, it is a tamper resistant formulation. I have a Kentucky Licenses and went to a pain clinic in GA, they prescribed me Oxycodone 15mg and Hydrocodone 10mg. I have been to several pharmacies in Kentucky and cannot get them filled. The DEA set forth new directives last year that have made most doctor's reluctant to prescribe and, when they do, it is only for patients they have an established relationship with. Hi everyone i'm new to this site so i'm not sure if i'm posting in the right section or not, but anyways here i go... My regular Dr. that i see every month for both percocet and xanax has been out of his his office for 3 weeks now. I'm now completely out of medication so i called the covering dr and his staff informed me that he is not writing out any prescriptions for my doctors patients. I'm diabetic. Neuropathy is a big problem with my feet specially at night. I was taking lyrica, I call it a miracle pill for me. The only huge problem with Lyrica was gained so much weight but only in my stomach. I was so happy with Lyrica that never payed attention. Till one day my nephew asked me if I was pregnant. Stopped the meds and tried everything else but nothing works. ## I've been taking Lyrica or (Gabapentin) 300mg 3-4 daily for 5 yrs now and I do notice I do eat more, especially if suboxone is added to the mix. I was put on Diconal in 1993 after having struggled with real pain and non effective medicaments post RTA/'86, where I lost right leg below knee, with both wrists broken etc etc. Stress am not talking about phantom pains. Presently STILL. have open on end weeping 7.5" below knee stump. Because of ill fitting prostheses my right hip is knackered.. Hip op not feasible since developed venous ankle ulcers on remaining foot. Also have damaged sciatica both sides intermittently flaring. To this add neutofibrotoma, mostly quiet but currently one is enlivened in right shoulder area which lately hurts so much at times though has left my right thumb & index useless! 80 mg op received this month. What the heck is purdue doing to me my stomach hurts, my pain is almost all they way back. I'm in agony. Why don't they take whiskey off the shelves and make them put plastic in it. It takes 3 hours for it to work if it does? I've had a headache also. They lost my almost $1500 a month and need something for pain. What is the best pain medication for C I D P (Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy)? I'm taking opana 40 mg twice a day it does not work very well for me I'm still in bad pain. Sometimes I feel my pain management doctor does not believe me when I tell him I am still having bad pain and the medication not working. I'm not addicted to the medication. My sister was on Methotrexate Capsules for years, until her Rhumy took her off without reason and she started regressing. She changed Doctors and now they are giving her little tablets that are working against her, and have put her in the chronic pain she started with many years ago. At that time her hands were all screwed up and in terrible pain, but with the capsules, her hands became normal and pain free for years.
