The Butrans patches contain the active ingredient Buprenorphine, which is a very potent narcotic opiate and completely different that the Hydrocodone in the Vicodin. Are there any other questions or comments?
Vicidon ESis fourteen dollars a month for 150 pills. My Doc took me off vicidon because of the aspirin in it. I can't afford the oxycodone or others we've tried. Does anyone know of something I could recommend to my Doc that is in the same price range as vicodin? Thank you ## Vicodin ES doesn't contain Aspirin, it contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. And as to something that would be cheaper, the prices can vary from area to area and pharmacy to pharmacy, for instance, when I had an infected tooth and bought the lowest dose, generic Vicodin here, just 20 tablets cost me around $50, so you should check with your pharmacy, to get ideas and prices from your pharmacist. Does anyone else have any suggestions? ## Depending the dose that your physician gave you, the acetaminophe...
i need to know how long the side effects last.i have tryed several times to stop went 14 days gave up could not take it went got more i NEED HELP PLEASE ## You mean you took 180 tablets in a week? If so, you may be past side effects and into permanent organ damage, so you need to seek medical attention. Even the lowest dosage of these contain 325mgs of Acetaminophen in each tablet, along with the narcotic Hydrocodone and that comes out to 58,500mgs in a week and it is considered toxic at anything over 4,000mgs in a day, which would be only 28,000mgs in a week. You may have done permanent liver damage and need to speak to a doctor. ## dont have insurance so cant get to deep do not send a reply dont want wife to know thanks
have hepc got it though bodybuilding gh from china took steriods for 20 years had 6 surgerys open heart rotor cuff 4 inch tear neck both knees an ankle toren pec siezure disorder broke neck twice hernated desks in upper an lower back question pcd giveme perocet 10/325 40mgs a day same dosage 4 years doesnt seem like it works would it be ok to ask for something a little stronger an no tyenyol in it or just keep taking the perocet an take more otc pain meds thank you ## You should speak to your doctor. It is normal for your body to get used to dosage of any medication, when you have been taking it for a long time and for it not to work as well, anymore. In addition, the Acetaminophen can have a detrimental effect on the liver, so it could also be a good idea for you to be switched to some...
what is the difference between a m357 and an es m358 ## The tablet with the M 357 marking contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. The tablet with the M 358 marking contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen. Is there anything else I can help with?
why is the new opana 40 not strong like the old ones the new opanes40 are about equal to a percets 10 if that. Someone need to look into it i have been taking them for about 5yrs they are not strong at all like the old opana thank ## They changed the formulation, to help prevent abuse, similar to what was done with Oxycontin and, just like then, it seems that the new formulation just doesn't work as well for some people, though in theory, it is supposed to. Have you discussed the problem with your doctor?
i need my dr to go up on my oxycodone 30 mg from 5 times a day to 6 times a day can he do that ## Have you asked your doctor? It can usually be taken every 4 to 6 hours, so at the minimum 4 hours, that would be 6 times a day. There is also the possibility of raising the dosage, or switching to a time released formulation that may give you better pain control.
Has anyone else experienced long term hallucinations from prescribed oxycodone use ? ## Not that I am aware of, but it is always difficult to say how any given medication will affect any given person that uses it. Have you consulted your doctor about it? Are you still taking it? Are you taking any other medications?
v on one side and 4212 ## This is NOT Vicodin! This is Methocarbamol 750mgs, a generic for Robaxin which is a muscle relaxant. Not all pills with a V are Vicodin, that it just a drug company logo! ## i was given some pills and he told me the were muscle relaxers but they didnt look like the ones i had been prescribed.... i thought they were vicodin b/c of the v. thanks for ur usefull info! ## having just taken 4 of these today thinking they WERE Vicodin, my carelessness, but I so wish they would change the color, or something, to make it easier to tell them apart. The only difference is Vicodin has a score line and Robi does not.
i have a white oblong pill inscribed with the letters ip 204 what is it? ## This tablet contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Percocet, this is a narcotic pain reliever. Side effects may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and constipation. Learn more: Is there anything else I can help with?
it is a round white pill with trm then scored with apo on the top nothing on the other side completely flat ## I can't be completely certain, but it does resemble the marking the Apotex uses on some of their Tramadol pills, in some countries. Tramadol is an analgesic, which may cause side effects similar to those of narcotics, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth and constipation. Where was it found/obtained? ## In Canada, it's Apo Trihex 2 mg (before it was bought by AApharma) it's a medication use in parkinson, original name is Artane
Do Lortabs lose effectiveness if they are old? Are they less strong if they are old? ## Yes, almost all medications will lost effectiveness, with time. That's why the FDA mandates that they all have an expiration date. Though these ones don't, there are even a couple that turn into toxic substances, after they start to break down. Are there any questions or comments?
Is the paracetamol content (325mg) in Seradic P too much to damage the liver? I have been prescribed with the drug to cure my tennis elbow. Although the entire course duration is only 5 days (twice a day), yet it makes me wonder whether it'll have any negative effects on my liver? Also, does it actually cure tennis elbow or are there better medication for the same? ## These medications can effect everyone differently, but in my opinion, since the duration is only 5 days, you should be fine at a dose of 325mg twice a day. This is the lowest dose of paracetamol out there I believe. To answer your other question, this is not a cure for tennis elbow, but it should relieve the symptoms while you take it. I also think the link below offers some excellent information on how to treat tennis...
taking a 40mg opana at 10:30 then a saliva swab at 1pm close to 3 hours after ingestion will it show positive on a saliva swab test that soon ## It's listed as being detectable in saliva for approximately 5 days, after last dosing, but I can't find anything that lists how soon it is detectable. Have you been taking it as prescribed? If so, then you shouldn't have to worry about it. ## I am prescribed 2 a day and took another in the middle of the night a few times, well like 7 or 8 times then didn't take any for 6 or 7 days and on the day of my Dr. appt took my last one at 10am and did a saliva swab at 1:30 pm. It is necessary to be in my system for continued treatment. my appt is coming up and wondered if I would have to explain doing more than prescribed. Thanks to ever...
To whom it may concern: I have read every thread on this forum concerning Talwin, the last comment is 5 months old. I have a history with the use of USA Talwin going back to 1977, 10 yrs after its introduction in the USA. 1. It is only available in the USA in "liquid Vial, (ampules) in the USA, in its "pure unadulturated form", since t983, when Winthrop, the original patent holder, added a narcotic antagonist, to the pill version form, to curb high street abuse, and to discourage the DEA in the USA, from making Talwin Tablets, a Schedule II. It was made in the reformulated Talwin NX form, by Winthrop, and later by Sanofi Aventis, for a long time, with relativey poor sales, after the formula switch. My belief is that it is still available, in 50 mg tablet form, only, if speci...
Updated in TalwinMy question is for long term users of the medication. I've been taking some form of oxycodone for 10+ yrs. I'm obviously addicted. It started out with percodan (they were more popular than the percocet where i;m from bak then. im from north Jersey.) the only difference between the 2 is cets contain tylenol, and the dans contain asprin. but then more percocets were being written outn they soon dominated. My habbit stood the same for many yrs, like i plateaued for several yrs. then i discovered 15mg oxycodone (roxicets). Then from there the 30's that i could remember breakin into 4's bec they were 2 strong. Now i'm taking 4 at a time. The biggest problem i have here is i need an MRI n bad because my back , my neck, n my legs are in agony. I however am unemployed n have...
Any one in the Anchorage,AK area having trouble getting prescription for tramadol from your Dr.? My Dr. prescribe's me 3-50mg. a day, but for some reason he now will only prescribe me 60 a month. When I first started out with him he would prescribe me 90 a month no problem. I have verifiable lower back" degenerative issue" as he put's it. With MRI to prove it. Is tramadol now looked at the same as a narcotic or what? He doesn't even want to discuss the issue. Just weird. ## From an outside perspective I can only think that your doctor may just be looking for you by playing it safe with the dosing so that you don't become too dependent or addicted to the medication. Tramadol is addictive even though its not an opiate. Tramadol is not currently scheduled as a contr...
I believe this is one of the strongest roxicodne available. The next are the r215's. This is from someone who has been on them for 12 years. We (in Al)are not having the trouble that Fl or Ky is experiencing, knock on wood. Good luck to all y'all ## It depends on the precise marking. There is a light blue with an M in a box on one side and a 30 over the score line on the other that contains 30mgs of Oxycodone, it is a generic for Roxicodone. And there is no Oxycodone with R 215, the marking on that one would be A 215 and is also contains 30mgs, so it is identical, not stronger. Are there any comments or questions?
I had a bad reaction to Nubain when recovering from surgery, back in my room on morphine IV drip. The nurse gave it to me and I think she was incompetent or worse. It wiped out the morphine and I immediately felt the impact of my surgery post-op. I was miserable for hours, they gave me emergency pain intervention to bring me back to where I was before she gave me the Nubain. It was a terrible experience. ## Wow, that's terrible, very sorry it happened to you. Did they provide you with any explanation for it?
OXYCODONE 5/325 mg how many grams of oxycondone is in one tablet ## The 5 represents the Oxycodone, but that's not in grams, it's in milligrams, in other words these tablets contain 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments?
