If so, then the best suggestion I can make is contacting them and seeing what pharmacy they prefer for mail order prescriptions. I'm normally get Watson 540 that's my Lortab 10 what is the 500? ## Lortab actually contains 2 active ingredients to relieve pain, the 10 denoted how much of the narcotic Hydrocodone it contains and the 500 denotes the dosage of Acetaminophen it contains. Was wondering if anyone knows how long Tramadol stays in your system. Might have to take test & need to know prior so, if necessary, I can inform the dr doing the test. I have only taken about 10 pills & the text wouldnt be until a week from Tuesday. One odd pill - found in a bottle of Tramadol tabs. It is about half inch long by 3/16 of an inch across. It is not really oval, but more 'eliptical' looking - pale yellow with a "15" on one side, the other being unmarked. ## This tablet is listed as containing 15mgs of Meloxicam, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. It still contains the active ingredient Oxycodone and the side effect profile is also still said to be the same: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. The only active ingredient is time released form of oxycodone. You might be thinking of percocet which does contain acetaminophen aka Tylenol (355 or 500 mgs) with immediate release oxycodone.

IP 190 with a divided line on the back of the pill is hydrocodone 5mg with 500mg acetaminophen. Definitely similar to the naproxen IP 190 with 500 on the other side. ## The tablet with the IP 190 500 marking is 500mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. The other tablet has the marking of IP 109 and it is a generic for Vicodin that contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The two different imprints have been confused here on other threads.

My husband, just had a rod takin out of his leg, and the gave him 10mg oxycodone, but one isnt helping. Wanted to see how many he could take safely to help with the pain.... ## It's kind of difficult to say given the limited information in your post. How tolerant is he to opiates? Has he been taking them for a long time? Learn more Oxycodone details here. When it comes to narcotics, a lot of it depends on the person's body and tolerance to them. Someone that's used to taking them regularly can tolerate much higher doses safely, than someone that rarely takes them. The best suggestion I can make is to call his doctor and tell them that the current dose isn't helping.

Can you take a Westward 325 and Percocet 10 at the same time? ## Hi Gabby, I was unable to identify the "westward 325" pill you mentioned. Is it a generic Vicodin with 325mgs of Acetaminophen? If so, I wouldn't recommend taking Percocet (Oxycodone) with Hydrocodone, just because of the additive effect and not knowing how "your" body is going to react to it. Some people may take them together no problem, depending on the dosages; so I would assess your tolerance levels before taking a full dose together, if that is in fact Hydrocodone you're referring to... I know someone who is trying to get off heroin and is taking hydromorphone/dilaudid (yellow pill with P 4 imprint), claiming that it's a form of methadone. I don't know much about this stuff but I think this person may just be lying and getting hooked on something else. Any help? ## Dilaudid is a narcotic but IT IS NOT methadone, methadone keeps people that are opiate dependant from going into withdrawal but it also blocks the high from other opiates, if the dose you are on is high enough. Addicts like dilaudid because the brand form can be crushed with water added and used IV, I know because I was on it legitimately for pain, however I found out it could be used IV and I tried it, it was better than heroin and cheaper because my insurance was paying for it. I was told its vicodin ## This marking is actually intended to be 6I (that's a capital i) and no, it does not contain a narcotic of any type. This is a 600mg Ibuprofen tablet, a generic for Motrin, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to relieve pain, fever and swelling. Learn more Ibuprofen details here. I recently, had my med changed from vicodin 7.5mg 5xqd to lortab 10-500mg tablet. 5xqd question is, "Is the lortab a higher dose of medication than the vicodin. ## Lortab and Vicodin both contain Hydrocodone, a synthetic opiate or opioid, as their narcotic analgesic. As such, your dosage strength increase is only in the amount of pills you are now taking, not in the opioid ingredient. Oxycodone, used in Percocets and OxyContin, is slightly stronger . . . a 5/325 Perc is equivalent to a 7.5 Lortab. I am not gonna go into the added NSAIDs like THVQEDylenol, ASAP, or aspirin on this question. The best of luck and the least of pain to you . . . If a person were to take 18 hydrocodone 5-325 what would happen to them/ Is that a fatal dose or would they be left alive with liver damage? ## All that Tylenol or aspirin, if it was a combo drug, might mess up your kidneys and liver but as long as you are not a first timer, that is to say opiate naive, 90 mgs of Hydrocodone probably won't kill you. My dosage as a cancer patient is the equivalent of 135 mgs Hydrocodone, at 90 mgs of Oxycodone every 4 hrs. Believe me I'd rather be cancer free than all drugged up. I'm in so much pain I can't even get a buzz, damnit . . . I have been on Lyrica about 4 months. I also take a long list of other meds for neuropathy. I have had some weight gain, confusion, and forgetfulness, a lot of the same symptoms as MS. Sitting home waiting on disability was worse on me than anything the meds could do. Because of Lyrica I am still able to work a 40 hr week. Before, I was in so much pain I didn't want to do anything.
