I sprained my Ankle but didn't fracture any bone; the swollen has gone but the severe pain persist even taking Hydrocodone/APAP 10MG/325MG; What other medication can I take to relief the pain totally? ## If the swelling has gone down, but you are still experiencing that much pain, then you should consult a doctor, again. It is not normal to have severe pain, from a healing sprain, so my concern is that there may be a fracture, or something that they missed. Swelling can sometimes cause them to be missed, if it is severe, at the time they do x-rays. I have had serious skin problems, flu-like symptoms, spent months in bed feeling as though I was dying. I think it is due to the acetaminophen and not the pain medication. ## Hello, Chris! I'm getting ready to have a 5 panel 180 day hair follicle test done. In late October early November I slipped up and took two 5/325 pain pills that were not prescribed to me. Will they be able to detect it on the hair follicle test? ## I took one percocet 10 two months ago will this show up in a disa ## What happened? ## They likely will show up. Go to er and get a percocet script if you can. ## I have taken 30 mg oxycodone and have a drug test for marijuana. Will it show up on a 5 panel test? Hello, I live in Australia and wondered if anyone could suggest an alternative to Targin 10/5 mg twice a day, morn & night. I have been taking this for nearly two years. I have a really severe reaction to it, the worst being the itching at night which often prevents me from sleeping at all. I believe it is the codeine in the drug that cause this as the same reaction occurred in the past when taking oxycodeine. I have tried Norspan patches but they are very hard to keep on in our climate as it is so hot in Perth, also they wear off after the second day and don't work anymore on me unfortunately. was taking 10/325 endocet for a couple weeks, doc knew that I was taking 1 and a 1/2 at a time, switched me to 15mg oxycodone no Tylenol little green ones, they are not working that well, b 4 it was 15mg oxy with 550 mg Tylenol...he doesn't want me to take Tylenol really, is it to much to ask him for the 30mg oxycodone instead, cause with eating breakfast, lunch etc and my weight 270pds...its tuff to get pain relief from the 15mg and even adding another half of a 15mg...just wonder if anyone has any advice or knows what I am trying to say...or if anyone has or is in this situation...I new here. any comments or suggestions would be great...how do I know when someone answers or comments on my questions? thx T-bone ## I see this is an old post but thought someone else might find this i...

I have a file of damage done to me that requires strong meds, but because they are internal and I look normal on the outside I have a hard time getting the meds I need. Does anyone know a liberal Dr. in the Dallas area. I have records. Thanks JR ## The problem likely doesn't have anything to do with the fact that they can't see the damage, because there are always medical tests that can prove it, as well as your medical history. The problem probably stems from the fact that they have to be extremely careful about prescribing liberally, because all such prescriptions are monitored by the government and they have to be able to account for each one and their reasons for prescribing. I am on storwin together with cardicor,ecotrin and 1/2 lisindopril. Besides these i take eltroxin, omega., vit C ! calcium., talomil and vit B , my doctor suggested alternate nights on storwin with enzyme Q10 on other night. My cardiologist says my aching legs day and night are "all in the mind". I find this unacceptable and he also suggested that i go off storwin for a month and see if it makes a difference. So i am very confused and not happy to be in pain like this

I have been taking dilaudid 8 mg 3 times a day for degenerative disc disease. It seems that I have been in more pain than when I was taking Vicodin. I have muscle and joint pain. My legs and feet hurt really bad sometimes it hurts to walk. I have tried telling my doctor but he just looks at me with this blank look on his face. want to oder dilaudid from known sites uderground. ## If your intent is to order medications that require a prescription, then there is no guaranteed safe and legal way to do so outside of the standard "doctor-visit" procedures. There are many more hazards involved when you order online from a non-legitimate site; such as not receiving what you ordered and just being scammed out of your money, or getting something that isn't even the medication you ordered (and you end up accidentally taking it). Using Mallinckrodt M357 hydrocodone and pain was perfectly controlled. About 20 months later my pharmacy changes the manufacturer to Watson. This new hydrocodone is not working as fast nor as effective. This leads me to using more than i normally would with Mallinckrodt M357. I am still within the doctors prescibed range but i do not like using any more than need be. My doctor has not an answer. What i would like to do is find a Pharmacy in the maryville, tennessee area that carries Mallinckrodt M357 to see if it is the medication or me building resistance. I do not think it is me because my back pain told me the first day of Watson use that it was not working. Can this pill be used for a stuffy nose? ## Hello, Tosha! How are you? This tablet contains 50mgs of Prednisone, which is a steroid class medication, so no, it's not going to do anything for a stuffy nose and it's not any type of narcotic. And there are some risk associated with taking, especially in such a high dose, so it is best avoided if it hasn't been prescribed for you. I have had these Percocet 10-325 pills with the U 17 on them and they are the worse pills you might as well take Tylenol they are so weak I had the worse month of my life taking these and I'm not crazy I have had a few friends that take Perks for there pain and they got the same ones this month and had the same complaints as me !! ## Weird. I started them yesterday, very reluctantly and I'm finding they may actually be better. I have some variables to work out--such as if I took it with or near other stuff--but yeah, I wouldn't say they suck but I'm sure watching. I'll be doing some real subjective research over the next couple of days. The M in a box is the logo used by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list as green one with the 15 over a score line as containing 15mgs of Oxycodone and a blue one with no scoring on it as containing 15mgs of Morphine in a time released formulation. Do one of those descriptions match your pill? I have been under a doctor’s care for the past five years. I’ve had ankle surgery, as well lower back surgery. Started off with Hydrocodone 10mg. Then another doctor, which I have to date, switch me to Oxycodone 90 count, 10mg three times a day. Then to Oxycodone 120 count, 15mg, four times a day. Then to Oxycodone 180 count, 15mg, six times a day. Then to Oxycodone 210 count, 15mg seven times a day. I don’t know if what I’m feeling, going thru is related from Oxycodone? I had no idea there was an 80mg oc...i take 30mg 4/daily. What is the max dose for continuous pain from surgeries and chronic pain? I am going to pain management - are they restricted on pain meds? Does anyone know of a good pain management doctor in the Ashland or Klamath Falls OR area? I am new to the area and need to transfer from my current doctor over 1000 miles away as quickly as possible. I am more than welcome to continue treatment with their office, but between the $$ for traveling and the pain the length of the trip would cause I really need to find someone closer. I am willing to travel as far north as Portland OR or as far south as San Francisco CA if needed as long as the doctors are experienced in Chronic Pain management.
