I want to know if tramadol will relieve some of the severe pain ? ## ya..offcource it will give relief .No problem you may take this. But in such condition Ibuprofen is choice of drug . ## No, Dr.......ibuprofen is not the choice of drug....not after any kind of surgery. Too much of a bleeding risk. It's ok, in THIS case to take it after 3-5 days but, personally, I would take the TRAMADOL. My oral surgeon always prescribed hydro or oxycodone for the pain......NO NSAID's. ## Can I Take 50 mg or 100 mg of Tramadol for pain from a tooth extraction? 0r IBprofen? ## Tramadol can be taken, as long as it has been prescribed for you. The NIH warns that it carries the risk o...
Is it safe to take Morphine sulfate 1 mm rel 15 mg tab after it's expiration date? ## can you take propox-n/apa after expitation date ## I have some extended release morphine sulphate 60 mg from 2015. Is it ok to take?? I need to go to an event without being in such pain. I usually take 15 mg and 15 mg of oxycodone. ## Under U.S. FDA regulations, tablets and capsules expire one year from when they are dispensed to you by your pharmacy, since that exposed them to the elements that can cause degradation, such as heat, light, and moisture, so under average storage conditions in most homes, that is the longest period of time they can guarantee full efficacy. Liquids, creams, and ointments may have shorter expiration dates, and capsules/tablets that are still sealed in their factory orig...

Hey everyone, im recently cutting down from 16mg of dilaudid every 3-4 hrs to im at 4mg every 4 hrs now. Ive been on dilaudid for 10 months for a tumor that went undiagnosed for 8 months. Most doctors thought i was just drug seeking because they couldnt find out what was causing my pain, so im relieved they finally found something and i had it removed and i feel so much better. Now all my other problems are solved except for the dilaudid dependance. Any tips on getting off this stuff. It gets extremely unbearable after just 5 hours from the last dose. I know i dont need it for pain anymore, i just want to be off everything and back to normal. Any help would be appreciated. ## Hey, that's all normal. I'm in the same boat but w/oxycodone. Anyone who's not an opiate user (and e...
this pill does not do what its supposed to do very weak not good for pain ## There have been many complaints about these tablets from Actavis. I suggest reporting the issue to the FDA, so they are made aware of it. You can reach them at 888-463-6332 This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## This is my first time receiving Actavis A333 and I must say (to keep it professional) they are "C-R-A-P!" I just had my doctor cut me down from 15 mg Roxi to 10 mg Percocet. Yes, from 15 mg Roxi to Percocet 10 mg. Two reasons, one to help me control it and two because I get tired calling around the pharmacies trying to find t...
I've been taking 45 mill morphine every 6 Hrs for my CRPS about 3 months now. A week ago I started getting sick and severely dizzy to the point of passing out. Just moving my eyes back and forth make me dizzy. Why is this happening? My blood pressure is fine. Without pain meds I cannot walk and usually end up in the emergency room. ## Hi Brad, From what I could gather, the following are all potential side effects of Morphine, that may or may not be contributing to or causing the dizzy feeling you're describing: dizziness lightheadedness drowsiness nausea double vision eye movements that you cannot control confusion hallucinations blurred vision Ref: nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/druginfo/meds/a682133.html#side-effects If it becomes too bothersome or severe I would suggest contacting y...
Found this pill in my laundry room floor. Have grandd children ages 13 and this is no pill I take. ## This tablet contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Lortab, this is a narcotic pain reliever. Since it is a narcotic, there is a chance that it could be habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. You can learn more Lortab details here. If this did belong to your grandchild, then someone should speak with them about it, as this can be very dangerous. Are there any other questions or comments? ## Thank you for resonding.. I did qieation both my grand children abouthis matter. And they both said. That I had nothing to worry about. So I sit down and wondered how this pill got in my laundr...
hydrocodone-apap 10mg/325mg pale yellow tablet... I would like to know if this drug could cause itching? ## Yes, Hydrocodone can cause itching. Its called puritis, and is a very common side effect of the medication. ## That is correct, narcotics can cause itching in some people as a side effect, however, there is also another way it could be causing it and that would be if you are allergic to something in it. Have you consulted your doctor? In such cases, it is very important to discuss it with your doctor to determine if it is a side effect, or due to being allergic to something in the tablets. ## Yes, many of us using this drug experience itching. It is normal. No worries, just never take more than prescribed. Good luck! ## Yes, but you can take a Benadryl with it ## I have been takin...
i failed a drug test due to not having the percocet in my systemthey said but i did i took the sast one 2 days before going to the doctor ## If you take them sporadically and 48 hours has passed, before the test, then it is highly possible for them to be out of your system by then. The only way for it to last longer would be if you were taking them regularly, every day. However, the Oxycodone in them does not have a long half-life and can clear your system very fast. Why are you taking them so sporadically? ## what can i take to clean pecocet, vicoden, tramadol out of my system??? ## go to cvs and purchase a detoxifer kit. It's like 20 dollars. It gives you two weeks of natural stuff that will clean everything in your system if needed. It was proven to work when my doctor told me none...
I have psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and diabetic neuropathy. I've always been prescribed Percocet 10/325 for my pain. This morning my pharmacy told me that the price has increased by $2.00 by my insurance company (UHC) has not yet adjusted their coverage price. Therefor my prescription for 120 Percocets (or generic) will be $240. I find this to be unbelievably irresponsible of you and your associate manufacturers. I'm on SS and do not have Medicare -- how am I supposed to afford 1 prescription that costs me $240? I'm just one of the millions of peoples that are prescribed this drug, especially Seniors. What are you thinking? What can I do? What will you do for me? ## This site has nothing to do with the pricing of medication. You ne...
I have been taking oxycodone for years now and I was wondering how long does it take to get out of my system its Saturday and I have a test on Wednesday. When should I stop? Please help thanks ## It usually takes three dad to a week but if you are an extreme addict like I was it might be months tell all the opioids are out of your system. ## I have been taking 15mg morphine & 30mg oxycodone for a while, off and on for a year. I have a drug test next week. How long does it take to get out of your system? ## I've taken about 16 oxy 15s within the last week and a half how long will it take to be out of my system? ## Hope your test came out clean! This is an old post or question I'm replying to! (For "future reference "-USUALLY 3 FULL DAYS & you're system is clea...
My PCP is not prescribing anymore. I went to one pain management clinic, 2 epidurals, 21 nerve blocks and 14 nerve burns. I need my meds ## Hello, Reba! How are you? Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. The quickest and easiest way to find the help you need would be by having your PCP refer you to another pain management specialist. What other options were you offering by the one you went to? ## I sympathize with you the FDA is making our doctors to afraid to prescribe the meds we NEED so we suffer. There has to be a way we can keep the FDA and Docs happy so we can get the meds we need ## Reason why doctors a re not prexcribing narcotics like percocets, oxyxcontins and fentanyl is because of the addi...
I would like to find a pharmacy in Albuquerque NEw Mexico that carries Qualitest 10/325. They work best for me. I was prescribed norco 10/325 for my back pain. The pharmacy dispensed the generic by Amneal. THAT is the worst generic for Norco I have ever taken!! It is pure crap made in India!! I had the worst reaction! I will NEVER take this shyt ever again!! Please let me know of any pharmacys that dispense the Qualitest. Thank you so much. Kimber ## Hello, Kimber! How are you doing? I am very sorry about the problem you've experienced. Unfortunately, there is no database showing what pharmacy carries any certain manufacturer's product in any given area. Which one they carry depends on who was offering the cheapest price, when they order a new stock from their distributor. The F...
I take codeine 5mg for pain due to a pinched nerve. If I take 7/day I am pretty much pain controlled and can go about my day. My Dr. wants me go decrease that to 4/day, but even at 6/day my pain level is about 3. What would be the potential long term effects of 7/day? ## According to FDA warnings, it can carry the risk of being habit forming, and it may cause liver damage, or failure, as well as kidney damage, or failure. Are you taking straight Codeine, or is it coupled with Acetaminophen? What is your prescribed dosage? Are you on any other medications?
Have been taking 2 generic Ibuprofen 200 mg each (400 total) since Tuesday around 4pm for right side back pain from a fall on Saturday night - Aspirin before that. Not working. Tried Lidocaine patches 5% - Wednesday; no relief; took Naproxen 220mg - 2 of them; still no relief; can I take Hydrocondone Acetaminophen 7.25/325 now Friday AM? And if so, how far apart from the ibuprofen which I just took again? ## Have you had this checked out? If the pain is so severe that nothing you've listed has helped, then it might be time to have some consults to find out if the fall might really have done some damage. According to NIH reports it could be due to anything from a kidney stone to a broken rib, or fractured disk. How are you doing, now? Has there been any change?
I have a severe back injury that cannot be operated on because of my heart condition. I am taking fairly large doses of Dilaudid, but my VA doctors will not increase my dose, even though they agree my condition is worsening.. I need a civilian doctor in Sacramento or San Francisco area who is not afraid to help me with increased doses. ## Unfortunately, no one can really know ahead of time what a doctor is or is not willing to prescribe, as that is based on the doctor's discretion and not just on someone else's previous appointment (especially since many doctor's are now worried about losing their licensing for prescribing too many narcotics). Some advice I can give you is to not specifically ask for any 'specific medication' when you see a new doctor. Just make sure...
I was rear ended by a Semi 15 years ago and have various back problems that are only getting worse. I have SI joint dysfunction, degenerative disc disease, facet something, sciatica bulging disks, and the list goes on. I have already had 6 lumbar shots, 2 SI shots and 1 epidural in the last 3 months. NONE of them have helped and some have made me worse. I have been on Norco 10's for 5 years. They now do nothing for my pain. I need something stronger and I do not know how to approach with my pain management Dr on my next visit? I do not want to seem like a drug seeker, but I want to be able to participate in life. Play catch with my son, empty the dishwasher, mop the floors. I also take Lyrica, Valium and Zanaflex (which is a joke and does nothing for me). I have built up a tolerance...
I need to find a dr that will prescribe my Norco and demdrall for bad break through pain. 7 knee surgery and back probs. My family dr was, however thanks to DEA and the "new" rules they keep making, she sent me to pain dr. Pain dr I see now is a quack. Please help ,each find a pain dr in northwest indiana and takes H.I.P. ## What has your new PM doctor suggested? Have you tried any of the options they've offered? As to your medications, did you mean Demerol? I can't find anything listed under the name Demdrall. The FDA warns that opiates carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

I can't find anything that matches this description, however, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else recognize this tablet? ## I have a friend that just got prescribed the pink pill with a 48. It is oxycodone 10 mgs. Same as a percocet but without the tylenol. ## Pink pill 4/48? Anybody know what it is ## Percent 10 without tylone in it when you look it up it shows purple but there pink A 48 and nothing on other side on it. Thats what it is. Hope i helped out. ## I'm sorry but if you are referring to oxycodone hci that is not the appropriate identification code preceptors according to dig. Version of the pdr. ## Info...
