Got prescribed 20mg temazepam for anxiety and sleep disorder. White round white tablet. Score one side 30 on other. Sorry bad eyesight but I'm sure it says 30. Anyways, I feel it takes away pain as well. Anyone else get this effect from temazepam? ## Restoril or Temazepam has diazepam in it as well as a hypnotic for sleeping. They're prescribed as sleeping pills.. if you're getting pain relief from it it’s probably because it has relaxed your body enough to get real rest and sleep.. I have experienced many generic brands, including Watson and Qualitest. My pharmacy just changed to the Amneal brand 10-325 hydrocodone/APAP. I am just not sure what to think about this. The pills have an IP on them. What have been the experiences of others taking this specific generic brand? ## Because these drugs can affect each individual differently, my opinion is that trial and error through one's own personal experience is the only way to accurately judge the efficacy of a specific tablet. On the other hand, I do get the sense that some brands/generics are manufactured with less quality inactive ingredients than others, potentially making them more prone to cause side effects or placebo-like responses from varying degrees of bioavailability. Given OxyContin Extended Release 40mg per 12 hours in place of Methadone 10mg four times daily. Always given for pain by MD, 20 years now. Initial dose 20 yrs ago was 200 mg daily, got myself down to 120 mg daily, then down to 40mg (all of these in four doses, that took 3 years). I've been on OxyContin ER for one month along with Vicodin for breakthrough and Tramadol. Nothing really works. Can't sleep, eat or care for myself. The reason I'm off Methadone is because insurance said I would need to pay for it and I can't. Back with my parents and they are lost in this situation. I really want to start my story with my main concern in case anyone doesn't have time or interest to read the whole thing. So I've suffered now for eleven years, have had 5 surgeries, PT, many many inj's., multiple doctors and opinions, had a very high stress and crazy physical job, acupuncture, have tried so many medications. I had a good pain doctor years ago that left and my family doctor of two decades took pity on me and by this point I had a psychiatrist that helped me for two months while he decided if he was comfortable with what I needed. I was wondering if it is going to be ok for me to mix oxy with my antibiotics for Strepp throat. It is a 125mg of Amoxicillin and Clavulanate Potassium combined. I'm small, if it makes a difference. I was on percocet, oxycodone, and opana for 4 yrs, then got on a suboxone treatment plan, and was stuck on the never ending train ride of trying to get off suboxone effectively and for good...... And I DID!! NOT 1 single withdrawal, none!!! Well today I officially caught a cvs here in Ga lying to me. A friend of mine filled his Meds yesterday. I go in, having a history with cvs, a recent one, and am immediately lied to. The pharmacist comes over and tells me they haven't had them in stock for months, without looking at his book or computer. At this point I stated an employee I know the name of told me shipment came in Thursday. He lied again. I then told him friend had filled yesterday morning. He said it was impossible. I was prescribed Percocet by pain dr but ran out. Started taking my wife's norco for the past 6 days. I am having a urine test in 4 days. Will the norco show up? ## Yes it will show up but it will show up as codeine in your urine. If you need percocet to show up you need oxycodone in yur system. On day 4 of cold turkey Dilaudid withdrawals. Severe back pain sufferer. Was on 24mg/day for about 18 mos. Brutal. So tired I can barely move, add to that the back pain with limited muscle support and you start to get the picture. Worse symptoms have been diarrhea, insomnia, headaches, mental strangeness and I'm in too much of a general fog to remember what else. Only reason I've slept at all in the past 3 days is Temazepam. But at best an hour or two at a time. Not a natural narcotics lover. No pain, no drugs. Have Diaz and Temaz for a general insomnia problem anyway. This has come up before and from the limited information I can find in foreign resources, it is manufactured by a Palestinian company and the only 500mg tablet they make contains Acetaminophen/Paracetamol. It is used to treat pain and fever. The FDA lists the side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness and headache. I'm suffering tremendously, and my friend said they knew of a great doctor in Howell, NJ who is one of the few who is still brave enough to prescribe for pain management without much of a hassle. CVS filled my script with these. I usually get the yellow Norco. When I asked about it they said the yellow ones were no longer being manufactured. Is this true?
