I have been taking norco 10/325mg and oxycodone 7.5mg for the past two months daily. I need to know how long it will take to get out of my system. At 60, I now have a full disability because of chronic pain from cervical and lumbar radiculopathy and attending sciatica. For 12 years I've gone to a GREAT doctor in Chicago. But this neurologist has retired, only to be replaced by an anti-oxycodone Chinese anesthesiologist who is very authoritative and just a damn unpleasant lady. After driving all the way in to see her yesterday, she took me off my oxycodone 30's and 15's and gave me a prescription for oxycodone 40, for a month--and there is no such thing, as I discovered last night--only Oxycontin 40, and she didn't write for that. I'm quite screwed. I have ample medical records. Medicare, too. Is there a good doctor in the Rockford/Naperville area that some god soul can suggest? I would be sincerely appreciative...

I am in chronic excrutiating pain and am allergic to many meds. I am taking norco, it isn't working very well any more. I am not looking for a particular med, just something to allow me to funciton, to do more than go to the bathroom and throw up. I am not suicidal but pray for God to take me as I cannot do anything, or even leave my apt. no transportation and many don't take my in. I have medicare part b anrd medicaid as a secondary. I just want to be able to go to church, go to the park with my granddaughter, eat and and sleep that's all.

Have 10 tab blister pack of caplets with no logo. However, outside says Mallinckrodt. I peeled that away and Inas Pharmaceuticals was on the foil of the blister pack. All I can read is I believe contents: sodium 50mg. but the rest is cut off. Is it possible that Inas manufactures for Mallinckrodt and they add the logo? Are these safe? ## Inas Pharmaceuticals is not Mallinckrodt. Inas is located in India. What you have was not maunfactured by Mallinckrodt. Thank you! ## Hello Dee, The problem with buying drugs from Mexico is that they don't have the same regulations as we do in the U.S and they don't require their medication to have an imprint like we do. This is because they don't have to follow the rules and regulations of the FDA. Since it doesn't have an imprint I can't really give you any information on the medicine to tell you it's validity. I take the mallinckordt 100mch fentanyl patch and I was wondering if there is enough fentanyl left over after I have worn the patch for 3 days to still use it? ## Hi clay, According to the prescribing information, Fentanyl patches are only intended to last 72 hours (3 days) before they should be replaced. Nih.gov also recommends changing it at about the "same time of day", every time you do change it. Given the above information, it's probably safe to assume that there's very little, if any left after 72 hours of use. And if there is any left, I would doubt that the remaining dosage would be enough to provide sufficient relief. I found this great Pain Specialist who actually helps people with legitimate problems that have found that they are only helped with Narcotics. This Doctor does not treat you like a drug fiend and actually believes you when you tell the truth. He then prescribes a reasonable amount of narcotics to help make your life better. Once you have proved you are honest you don't have to take a drug panel every month either and he writes a 3 month supply just like with heart medication. Sound Like a dream? It is; at least from my 20 years of experience of being a pain patient. Why can't people who have real medical problems get real medical help when they need it? I took 50mg of tramadol 15 hours ago, is it safe to take zzzquil to help me sleep? I dont take the tramadol all too often, only on days when my back pain is really severe and I only take zzzquil when I just can't get to sleep. I know they have moderate interactions when taken together but I'm wondering if this is far enough apart to avoid adverse effects. ## Hello Al, According to the FDA tramadol has a half life of 6 hours, generally it takes between 4 and 6 half lifes to be completely out of your system. Since you are only at the 15 hour mark you would only be at two half life cycles which would be unsafe to take with the zzzquil. I have been on Norco 10-325 for chronic pain and normally have no issues. My last prescription appeared to be more oblong and was manufactured by MFG TRIS and I’ve noticed that I’m nauseous quite often. Are there such things as the M's being 30 mg and green? I just found some and I am not sure they are oxys. I know the the M 15mg are green, but I have never seen a 30mg be green. I’ve been on and off pain meds for many years. I just moved to Fort Smith, Ar and need a doctor who will prescribe me pain meds without acetaminophen. Ones like morphine, OxyContin, or dilaudid. I know with the opioid epidemic doctors are more reluctant than ever to prescribe these drugs, but I need them and don’t want to “doctor shop”. Any recommendations please?

What the hell is going on with the CDC and FDA telling OUR doctors how to treat our chronic pain. I suffer from severe chronic back pain and have been to rehab, pain clinics for steroid shots and have tried Motrin, Tramadol, Tylenol and the only thing that eases my pain so I can function is Norco 5/325. I take one every 6 hours. According to the CDC that makes me a drug addict. They say it is because that 40 people die every day from opioid overdose but they don't tell you is that illicit substances are part of the problem. I say every one of us who suffers from chronic pain contact the CDC and FDA to tell them that their advice to OUR doctors to prescribe rehab and exercise, and motrin is crap. i was just wondering 500mg-5mg is the same dose as 5mg-500mg ## Hello Anthony, Spike is likely correct but I just wanted to be clear something up. Since you are posting in acetaminophen + hydrocodone section it's fairly safe to assume that the 5mg is referring to the hydrocodone and the 500mg is referring to the acetaminophen so what you'e asking is essentially is 5mg hydrocodone/500mg acetaminophen is the same as 500mg acetaminophen/5mg hydrocodone to which the answer is yes. However, if you had a different medication could have something that looks more like 300mg/425mg then it might be worth taking a look at which active ingredient is which. I hope this makes sense.
