I have had two back surgeries. I have had the injections, I have taken Prednisone 10 mg, cyclobenzapr 10 mg. and Hydroco acetaminop 10 mg. The doctors informed me that I have 2 pinched nerves. I have difficulty in walking. The doctor asked me Can you live with it. I'm 74 years old and he asks me that question. I like to work, go fishing, go on hikes, walk the dogs, play ball with the grand kids. 5 mg Hydro twice a day is like taking sugar coated candy. I started taking 3 a day. No help here. I'm at the cross walk. Now what do I do.

Hello, Bear! How are you? I'm sorry that you're in pain.

There is a higher dosage of this medication available that contains 10mgs of the Hydrocodone. You may want to speak to your doctor about trying it.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Have you also tried physical therapy?
