Pain Management Cream For Arthritis

DermaTran compounds a cream that I use to help with my arthritis. This is the only cream that I have used and gotten relief. It costs me $60 a tube and I am 92 yrs old and live on Social Security. The VA says they can not help me and I need some help in lowering the cost. A tube lasts me about 2 months.

My mother was suffering from arthritis pain and she was prescribed for Tramadol pain killer and it worked really well on the pain and we can see the effects.Though she was given many precaution or call it warning about the pills.
ALPHA Direct Compounding in AZ has a cream I've had success with. The can says Ketoprofen 10 % Lidocaine 5%. Which probably isn't what you were using, but perhaps they could make what you need. My Medicare supplemental insurance would not cover the cost, but the company does the sliding scale. I lost my contact info, but maybe an internet search could help you locate them.
Hello, John! How are you? I am very sorry about the problem that you're having.
However, DermaTran is a chain of compounding pharmacies, which means what you're getting isn't actually a specific name brand medication, so there is no assistance available for it. I wish I had better news for you, but unfortunately, I don't.
The only suggestion I can make is to check with other compounding pharmacies in your area and see if they may offer a cheaper price.
Does anyone else have any ideas?
