Pain Killer With No Acetaminophen
UpdatedI am having a hip replacement but am on a waiting list, and the pain is awful. I need to take a pain reliever, but it has to be one that does not have acetaminophen or any other drugs that cause bleeding. I want to know if there is anything available other than just plain Ibuphrohen as it is not strong enough to help.

Ibuprofen can also cause some blood thinning, just like the Acetaminophen, so can other NSAIDs.
Have you consulted your doctor? There are some narcotic medications available that may be better for you to use.

For God's sake this is a situation which causes pain that no NSAID or mild analgesic is going to help in the least. The mildest I would recommend would be dihydrocodeine but I doubt that is strong enough. Sevredol, instant release morphine, starting at a low dosage like 5mg and increasing according to response is probably the way to go. Or oxycodone, which has far fewer side effects than morphine. Even 5mg of that four times daily may help; it is a good start point. And neither would I use acetaminophen containing drugs. Or just as bad, diclofenac.
I have been taking Norco 7.5-325 now for abut 6 months now and thats the only medication thats helps my back. I can take 4 a day if needed.
