Pain Doctor In Los Angeles

My name is Jim and I recently moved (January) from Detroit here to Los Angeles. For the past 7 years I have been taking 30 mg oxycodone (not contin) for my debilitating headaches. I do have a doctors verification and my medical records to back me up
Up to now I have been using the ERs for medical treatment. Because I have to go so often and I don't want to risk being labeled a drug addict, I find myself using different names sometimes to avoid this. I HATE that I have to do this. These headaches are keeping me from holding down a job. They are truly debilitating.
Please know that I do not get a "high" from this medication. It only helps me function in this world.
If you can offer any suggestions, I would be greatly appreciative.

I may not have a doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in locating pain management doctors within your general area.

All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results:

Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients; some aren't, but most usually are.

lets just say I work @ a hospital. AND I DONT KNOW WHERE YOU CAN GO EXCEPT A PAIN MANAGEMENT CLINIC OR A METHADONE CLINIC,
BUT I DO KNOW THIS A HOSPITAL ER WILL BE THE FIRST TO "TAG" YOU A SEEKER...STAY OUT OF THE ER IF YOU CAN.

Hello Cottonball. Thanks for the reply. Actually, since I first posted my quest for a pain doctor, I did find a neurologist who is willing to work with me. The problem is, now I cannot find a pharmacy that can fill the script. I was told by one CVS pharmacy that they were only alloted two bottles a month and they are used only for long time users. I have been to at least 40...(and I do mean in person and not over the phone)...and am being told similar stories. New users are basically out of luck. My neurologist has switched me to percocet 10/325, 6 times a day. That is about as close as I can get. I hate all the tylenol, but at this point I feel fortunate to get this at least.
Also as far as using the ER, I have found a way to not being "tagged". I absolutly hate the fact that I know how to do that, and no I am not going to share this knowledge with any guy who asks, I wish that I never learned how to do it.
It was all a matter of survival.
