Plz Help,wife Needs Too Many!!!

Any help would be great..I know she "needs"them..Back probs ect..but after 10 years of taking them..she needs soo many to take away the pain..I saw her pass out(hitting head on basement floor(concrete)..passes out half dressed for the kids to wake up and see..over the years fooled us she was off them..takes do many she runs out then needs to get them in the streets..I now have them and despense every 4 hrs..but I'm afraid everytime she leaves the house she is going to get them in the street..and who knows what she's getting there!!!..I just don't want to lose my wife and kids mother at such a young age (34)..her mom died young from same thing..please Help any way you can..need input from someone..Thank you in advance....Joey

HI, Joey! Sorry about the problems with your wife.

It really sounds like she needs help. On top of the abuse/addictive tendencies she's already shown, she is clearly putting her life in danger if she is sometimes taking too many of these, since they also contain Acetaminophen. Since it's also available over the counter, it seems safe and innocuous, but it really can be a dangerous drug. Long term use of high amounts of it can cause liver damage or failure and taking too much of it in any 24 hour period has the potential to be fatally toxic.
