Please Help Find Oxycodone 30mg In Sarasota Florida Need To Fill Script Asap (Page 2)

My husband has been relentlessly trying to fill my scripts for over a week, spending hrs on end daily, going from Parmacy to Pharmacy, with no luck. I've had CHRONIC pain for near 8 yrs from car accident, where I was sole survivor. I've never had a problem filling my medications until now. I can NOT function without them and have no hope of any quality of life without the assistance of these. My pain is unbearable and I can't stand that my children have to see me in pain. It's humiliating for my kids to see me cry, struggling to do simple tasks. I REALLY NEED FOR SOMEONE TO HELP ME find a Pharmacy that has in stock in Sarasota FL. I've even called my Dr to see if they could change my scripts, so I don't have to be in so much pain, and apparently he's out of the office until next Wednesday. Ug!!!! I feel absolutely useless. Please, if anyone can suggest to me where to go, I'd be grateful. I feel that the DEA is screwing with the "legitimate" patients lives!!! Instead of making it "unavailable", because of all the people that have been "abusing or mis-using" it , maybe they should take the time to do their due diligence on patient's medical records, and determine it on a "case-by-case" basis.
I'd really appreciate ANY help anyone can provide.

I disagreed with the fool up there that appears to have a non fuctional caps lock, but the person who you're calling judgemental, and a jerk, is actually telling you the truth.

I know it's hard to hear, but dependency is just a medical term for addiction.

I was addicted to heroin/any other opiate i could get my hands on for 10 years give or take a few months, and the WHOLE time my doctor kept the 15s coming. Some doctors ARE trying to make money off of your illness, and the sooner you realize this the sooner you can begin to rebuild your life.

No judging here, in my eyes all of us are just pieces of meat on a rock.

I appreciate you sharing in a constructive way. Im am educated person, and understand I'm dependant. I was taking roxycodone for almost 2 yrs. I went up in dosage twice, and then remained @ that dosage for over a year. I never took more than prescribed, less if that controlled my pain. I am now taking opana 10 mg. The truth is, it doesn't control pain as well. I wouldn't take more because that's not the answer. I've spoken to quite a few cpp. There's no such thing as being pain free. If people think pills will make them pain free, that's playing with fire. I'm not thrilled that I went down this road. I think long term pain therapy is a last resort. I've gone for epidurals, and am going to start another round next month. I went 10 days cold turkey when I was unable to fill roxycodone. I didn't go thru w/d, I was just in pain. I am 51, a product of the 70's, and tried a lot of things. I smoked gonja regularly, but quit that 3 yrs ago. I smoke from time to time, and that's it. I don't mind people expressing their opinions in a constructive way. I also take lyrica and am fully aware and not proud of having to depend opioids. I've been doing much soul searching, as I realize this is not a good long term choice. I also know these Drs want to keep you hooked and coming back. I'm well aware that at the end of the day, they don't care about patients. They're counting the $. I'm not stupid, and I know this. The question is, trying to live life with some measure of comfort. When you can tell me how I can achieve that without meds, let me know. God Bless

Some of us wouldn't "take anything we can get our hands on", or shoot heroin. Both of you, google the difference between addiction and dependence. Educate yourselves. I don't understand how the DEA and the government can tell you how much pain you are in. I did not know that they have medical degrees. They makeit hard for people with legit medical problems to get there meds. They need to get out of the medical field. The government needs to work on the economy and the DEA on illeagel drugs. They have people cut off and wonder why there is a heroine problem. By the way I am not an addict. Don't take.opiates. Just concerned about the way people are treated

Nah I'm really not a jerk... You're a hypocrite though cuz you're judging me, yet you're saying I shouldn't judge people... How do I not have the right to work in a pharmacy? I was working in my pharmacy before I got hurt and got on pain meds... So how do I not have the right? Why, because you're jealous and I have easy access to fill my script? And by me saying people are addicted to their meds doesn't make me a jerk and it doesn't mean I'm judging anybody... I'm just stating facts... I'm addicted myself, which I have admitted to in my posts... But I actually can admit that about myself, unlike a lot of people who comment here... Anybody who has been on Oxycodone for more than 6 months is addicted to their meds, its just a fact and its just the way it is... I have no respect for people who doctor shop and get more than one legitimate script per month... THATS the reason why anybody in Florida is having trouble filling their scripts... I feel bad for people who can't get theirs filled... But its not my fault and they shouldn't be posting all these sob stories... Everybody wants to claim their script is "legit"... What makes a script legit or not legit? A script is a script as long as its written by a doctor and not forged or fake... So why does anybody feel the need to say their script is "legit"? Your script is better than my script? No... And thats really all I'm trying to say...

@ motz, You contradict yourself. You get your med filled, so why are you on this thread? You are no better than any one of us. A legit patient/ script is someone who doesn't Dr shop, and follows the rules and is in chronic pain. You're no one to judge. I'm surprised you are allowed to work in a pharmacy, don't understand that. You should be drug tested, and that would tell them you're an addict. Now go post your self righteous bs somewhere else.

Oh, I see... You are one of those pharmacists that think you are an MD! LOL. POOR LITTLE GUY. Pharmacist should shut their mouths and fill the script that a real doctor wrote. pharmacists don't know the medical problems that people have, nor should they. Shut up and fill the script. Btw, an addict is looking for a high and can't quit even if they wanted to. Someone who is dependent isn't looking for a high and could quit whenever they want to. Quit sniffing and shooting them and they will last longer instead of only lasting 45 minutes.

HE'S the addict, and doesn't know the difference between addiction and dependency.
