Ph 043 Pill

This pill is white and long it has a PH on one half of the pill and 043 on the other. There is no V on the other side of the pill someone gave it to me saying it was for getting rid of mucus because the weather has been so crazy. I have not taken it yet for the fear of not trusting them haha. So, I came on here to find out what it is. Can someone please tell me? That will be well appreciated. Thank You.

This pill is a generic musinex, or however you spell it. my husband got some from dollar general

I haven't been able to find a definitive identification for this, we've had several people ask about it.

However, one of our forum posts said that they had purchased it as a generic for Mucinex, which contains the active ingredient Guaifenesin and is a decongestant.

What we do know, however, is that the pills with the PH marking are over the counter products.

Is anyone else familiar with this tablet?
