My cousin has Meningitis,doctor prescibe Purbac double strength and some other tablets.Will it be fine?

Purbac is an antibiotic that is used to eradicate bacterial infections. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.
