Pain Mangement Louisana

NO DRS IN LOUISANA ARE TAKING MEDCAID PATIENTS WHAT DOES A PERSON SUPPOSE TO DO I AM 62 YEARS OLD SUFFER WITH LEG,KNEE AND HIP PAIN I NEED MY MEDS I AM NOT HOOK ON NO MEDS BUT MY PAIN PAIN IS SO BAD ICANT GET OUT OF BED DONT BLAME PEOPLE WHO NEED PAIN MANGEMENT FOR THOSE WHO ARE MISUSING THE MEDS THIS IS GONE TO FAR I DO UNDERSTAND ITS A LOT OF YOUNG PEOPLE MISUSING CHECK THEM OUT LEAVE THE OLDER ONES AND THE WHO REALLY NEED IT ALONE THEY DONT KNOW THEY ARE GOING TO START USING HEAVIER DRUGS AND THATS GOING A BIG PROBLEM

What medications are you taking?

Many doctors are reluctant to prescribe any controlled substance, such as opiate narcotics. The FDA warns that they carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. The DEA requires doctors to be very careful who they prescribe them for, and why they prescribe them. If they find it questionable, a doctor could lose their license to practice medicine, face heavy fines, and jail time.

I know this does not help you with your problem, I am just trying to explain why many doctors are very, very cautious about prescribing such medications.

Does anyone know of a doctor in Louisiana that might be able to help?

I live too far away, so I can't suggest anyone.
