Ozempic To Wegovy
UpdatedHi! I have been taking Ozempic for weight loss (off-label), and I am currently on a 0.5 dose. I have decided to switch to Wegovy instead and plan to start in a week. Since I have been taking a 0.5 dose of Ozempic, should I start Wegovy at that same dose? I am thinking it should be okay since it's literally the same drug and my body has already adjusted to it. Thank you in advance for any feedback.

Your doctor should be able to direct you in how to switch from one to the other, the maximum dose of Wegovy has been shown to help more with weight loss than the lower dose Ozempic.
The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, vomiting, heartburn, gas, and diarrhea.
