Ozempic Is A Blessing To Me

My doctor suggested that I start ozempic to help lose stubborn weight that I had gained over a few months. I started with .25 on my first week and experienced nausea, threw up a couple of times and headache. It kind of made me nervous to continue but after the first couple of days, the side effects passed and I really just had no appetite. Week 2, .25 again and had small side effects. I did have to go to the bathroom if I ate more than a few bites of anything. Ate a few crackers with chicken salad throughout the day and it helped. Ginger ale was my friend too. Week 3 I was brave enough to go to .5 and didn’t really experience any bad side effects. My system was becoming tolerant. Week 4, .75 and weighed myself for the first time - lost 12 lbs! And two pant sizes!! Week 5 I decided to try the actual prescribed amount, 1, and felt fine.
I am on week six and going to stick with that dose for a while. Weighed today and have lost a total of 19 lbs. I am very impressed with this medication. I have more energy because I feel better about myself. The weight dropped quickly from my face and my tummy is shrinking. I am able to eat three small meals a day to ensure I am getting enough nutrition. This medication has trained my brain to understand that I do not need to clean my plate! I eat slowly and can instantly tell when I am full. I wanted to share my good experience to others. If you have had bad side effects, try a lower dose until you are able to increase. I’m so thankful for my doctor suggesting it because I truly do feel healthier and have a stronger mindset when it comes to eating ! Good luck!!

Hi everyone, I have been on Ozempic now for 6 weeks, and so far have lost 4 lbs. I was given a prescription for a 2 mg pen for the first 6 weeks (0.25 mg weekly) which means that I am soon due for a follow up appointment to increase my dose. How much weight loss can I expect when I reach the final dose of 2-2.6 mg? Would love to hear everyone's experience. Thank you in advance.
Hi, I am starting my Ozempic therapy this week. I just got my first prescription sent to my pharmacy through a telemedicine service. The doctor told me about the possible side effects I may expect, but I wanted to ask the community what to expect from people who have taken the medication already. How will it make me feel? Will it decrease my appetite or how does it work? I am a little nervous to start. Thank you guys so much in advance.
Hi. Could you tell me what time of day you do your injection?
Re: VerFree (# 2)
Yes, I am now on week 10 and have no side effects at all. I increased my dose to 1 three weeks ago and it is working perfectly. Lost another five lbs and another pant size. This prescription was just what I needed to motivate me. I believe that if I were to stop taking it now, I would continue to eat smaller portions and be more conscious about what/how I’m eating. However, I am not planning on stopping since I am having such good results with it. I am happy that I am one of the lucky ones who has not had issues with side effects. I believe that once your body gets used to it, it adjusts. I am closer to my dream weight and will reply with updates if anyone is interested or has any questions!!
I'm very glad that it's working so well for you.
Along with those you've mentioned, the FDA lists other side effects of Ozempic as possibly including heartburn, hypoglycemia, constipation, and heartburn.

Are you still having good results?
Thank you for sharing your story. I’ve been feeling a little hesitant about starting this medication but reading about your experience so far has given me the push I need. Good luck with your continued success!
