Oxymorphone Er Generic By Global Pharmacy (Page 6) (Top voted first)

Hi,

Since I heard that Impax finally got the green light to distribute Oxymorphone ER (Opana ER) generic through Global Pharmacy. I didn't hesitate to rush to my PM doc and he instantly had me switch to this new drug. He prescribed me 40 mg twice per day to treat my busted back & fibromyalgia.

I noticed the pill is round in shape with G74 on one side with nothing on the other. The color for the 40 mg ER tablet is an orangy/gold color. Ever since Endo ruined their product with the new TRF formulation. I promised myself to jump back on the bandwagon as soon as the generics were released.

Today is a great day for all who suffer chronic pain. Yay! 8-)

Where is this pharmacy that you mention in regard to impax? I am told they don't make them?

Does the global/impax work effectively? I am making calls but not getting anywhere so am starting to wonder if it's all worth it.

I already mentioned that you can't call around to pharmacy's. They can't tell you if they have them (security measures). Just take your script in. What does your script say EXACTLY?

I did call 2 pharmacies & they were more helpful than the company. G eagle pharmacy says they can order 2 brands; global or actavis but need the script from the dr. Another mountain to climb. The pharmacists claims they are not extended release? Problem is, she doesn't know which one I would get as it would depend on what was available that day. Does anyone know which is more effective?

Is impax affiliated with activis or glibal does any1 know? Which are the most effective in anyone's opinion?

Raw dog as I mentioned I don't hav a new script yet, I am relegated to these endo 30mg er causing panic attacks, was on them for years & this never happened. Sorry to confuse you.

Raw dog not sure what you mean by "you got it". Do u happen to know which one of the brands are most effective. I really don't hav anythg yet BC I hav to go through the dr, & then insurance to see if they will cover. The stress is overwhelming! Hope u r well & are you on one of these brands, actavis, global, or impax? Tx u 4 yur reply!

I said you got it cause you said the ENDO's are junk with the REF in them and global does not!! But GLOBAL IS IMPAX IT'S NOT 2 DIFFERENT KINDS OR BRANDS
THE 30'S LOOK LIKE DIREIA ORANGE or Brown with G77 on on side hope this helps

It's just hilarious that the pharmacist doesn't know this even when I told her the internet said they r the same. These r the ppl we hav to bow down to fill our rx's lol.

A pharmacist on top of it! What exactly does someone have to have to deserve narcotics? I'm in a very close boat as you and I look to pharmacist to help not judge. I had asked about withdrawal and breathing for a very sharp decrease in morphine once which was because of adjustments made with oxycodone, the pharmacist not caring the reason snapped on me saying it was only for increases. The pharmacy was full. I thought at the time I had just had a bone marrow, 3 aspirations for the solid marrow and a very large bone taken all for biopsies, pinched brain nerves, osteoarthritis thru out , broken neck, bone pain, fibromyagia, neuropathy, slipped discs the list goes on where is it ok to embarrass people who truly need their meds ? I would think pharmacist would be able to tell the sick from the abuser. Anyway I agree with you I just added out of being aggravated over the something including judgemental people. I hope your doing as well as can be

Tx u for sharing, I hope u got it all straightened out. I don't think I can do this much longer. I feel like no one cares enough to help. Tmr is a brand new day mayb I will get more strength. Take good care!

Rawdog, I called walgreens & the pharmacists says he does have the oxymorphone er 30 mg by impax, do you suggest this brand over actavis/global. Please get back to me when you can. Tx u so much !

Does anyone have experience using the oxymorphone 30 er made by impax, as I am allergic to the brand opana? On a second note is glibal/actavis better? Walgreens said they carry impax another pharmacy says they carry actavis/glibal. Please reply when convenient with your opinion. Thank you.
