Oxycontin30mg / Opana 30mg

is the opana and oxycotin got the same ingredients in it and if not what pill has the same ingredients as a opana 30mg. I lost my medical Insurance and i cant afford the opana 30mg but they help me very well i was wondering if there was anything out there with the same ingredients but cheaper.

Hi Susan,

Based on my research, these two medications don't contain the same ingredients. Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone, Oxycontin contains Oxycodone hydrochloride. From what I've read, some have had more success with Opana for pain and some have had more success with Oxycontin. They are both meant to help with pain, but I do believe that Opana is stronger.
