Oxycontin Vs Percocet

which is stronger--10 mg of Percocet or 15 mg of oxycontin? Which is more addictive?

They both contain the same narcotic, which is Oxycodone. Thus, technically the 15mg Oxycontin is stronger, but it is time released and doesn't work all at once, like the Percocet.

Percocet also contains Acetaminophen with the Oxycodone, which helps it work better for some people.

And thus, that means that neither is more of less addictive.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
