Oxycontin: How Long Til I Can Take Another Without Starting Wd Again?

In pain. used op80s twice daily for pain mgmt. Noticed tolerance level went from 20 mgs and up...very fast. realizing my body became dependent in just four months....I quit cold turkey. On day 7 now with just the runs. First time on these so I guess I don't really know what was to be expected. Anyway, I'm in pain but scared to take my meds again at a lower dosage. If I took a 30 mg now, will I have to go thru withdraws all over again?

Withdrawals don't usually occur after just one, or two dosages, it generally requires more use than that. However, there is really no way for anyone to know what is going to happen for you. You can really only gauge it by you how you know your body reacts to the medication.

Have you done this before and suffered withdrawals, again?

No insurance, saved n spent just to go to a pain dr to get on these damn evil pills. So if u say just go to a dr to get new meds..id love to but with no money or insurance its hard getting help you actually need. Not knockon anyone for using as they wish. Not my business....just looking for straight answers to my question. Thank u
