I have recently heard about a drug combination called the Redneck Cocktail. I know it has oxycontin in it but I'm not sure of the other parts of the cocktail. Does anyone know what this combination of pills is or why it is so popular?

I was high on meth last hit was about 4 hours before I took 1 Percocet half hour later hit my pipe then hit the door felt like I took 100 Percocet not sure why it caused a downer effect but I thought I was going to die felt like s***

DONT EVER MIX OXYS AND METH! They call this "pinty - os" here in canada. I did this, and it completely drives you insane. I started hallucinating, and came to a point where I was hearing voices for DAYS. this is not fun. It almost seems like it has a long-term affect. I'm an oxycontin addict. I only did meth because my roommates are addicts. And I regret ever touching meth. It's seriously dangerous - I've heard only horror stories about what this combo does to you! I know of a girl that had the same affects as they did for me - and she is clinically insane - it gave her major brain damage - and she's running around canada thinking people are after her!

very bad combination, just did it and i am thinking of calling the hospital/ambulance. i'm entirely in pain from head to toe. not fun. nothing fun about this..

drugs are bad, take it from me who has been doing them for almost 30 years. I'm only 39 if that gives you an idea of the depravity i've seen, dealt with and continue to struggle with. Stay away from opiates in particular, they are lifelong addictions. crystal, coke, crack, freebase, are all fast highs and fast kills, you go too hard on these and you will die quickly, and young. Few get out alive from any drug abuse really. Alcohol sucks too, but if you arent a mean drunk, and dont drink and drive, then go for it. Just cant drink every day or get too plastered or you are a drunk. simple to diagnose by anybody with a pulse. and you will have zero friends as a drunk.

thanks for heads up, was going to mix to chill out the come down of the methamphetamine, i am still going to mix but use very small amount of oxy because i know my regular dose, i'm going to 1/4 it. see how it goes. I know this is stupid to begin with but my legs are killing me from pain, the crystal is killing my legs for some reason, stiff today from walking? duno

If methamphetamine and Oxycontin are indeed this so called 'redneck cocktail' - then this in particular is extremely dangerous. Oxycontin is an opiate. Opiates are drugs in the DEPRESSANT category whereas Methamphetamine is an amphetamine (obviously), and in the stimulant category. Mixing a depressant and a stimulant is extremely dangerous, because it can easily result in a delayed overdose. This means that you could potentially take TOO much Oxycontin very easily, and you would not know it untill the shorter acting drug (in this case the meth) wears off. Once the meth whereas off, you would go into a respiratory depression, possibly a coma, and very likely death.

Do not mix these drugs together. Doing so is dangerous, and stupid. Only an idiot would do this..hopefully I have enlightened you on one of the most dangerous combinations possible.

It looks like this is created by mixing Oxycodone and Crystal Meth, also sometimes called a redneck martini. Both of these are commonly abused by those who like the high euphoric effect, however they are both very dangerous, and in combination, potentially deadly.
