Oxycontin Vs Morphine Doses

I was taking 4 80 mg oxys daily my doc put me on 2 100 mg teva morphines will it help the same and will i go through withdraw thank you

The equivalent dose would actually be 120mgs of Morphine to equal each 80mg Oxycodone that you were taking, so you've actually been put on a lower dosage.

Thus, it may not handle your pain as well as the Oxycodone did and yes, you may experience some withdrawal.
