I ran 1 1/2 day short on my oxy IR and have left over hydro from dental surgery. Is how much hydro can i take until its time for my refill ## I alternate oxycodone and loracet to manage my pain and it seems to keep my tolerance down for each drug. And as far as the dose of loracet take as prescribed because to much Tylenol is very bad on your liver. I would look at it like this use your loracet as a get me by until u can fill ur oxycodone. No more 4000mgs of Tylenol in 24 hrs. ## @Dalejrfan, Although only a doctor can legally advise you on what/how much of something you should take, the general adult dosing guidelines for Norco usually recommend 1 tablet every 4-6 hours as needed for pain. I have a close friend who has a disability and has been on Oxycodone-based drugs for a few years. I'll be honest and say that it's very difficult for people on this medication. You'll have constant issues getting meds, most doctors treat my friend as a drug addict and there are few doctors left that will help, although I understand their fear due to the bad reputation of Oxycodone-based drugs. I alwsys say, why make a drug and yet have doctors intimidated to prescribe it? They might as well not even produce it. In the end, there are very few doctors who'll prescribe it consistently and there also isn't a reliable method to find them, except thru trial and error. My drug screen showed positive for oxy/oxycodone, which I have ABSOLUTELY NOT taken because I'm in pain mngt and cannot get my meds taken away but I have been taking a few extra things to get rid of a sinus infection. I am currently in a suboxone treatment program and just received copies of my urine drug screens from the last 3 years.. (It's a 12 panel screen) on some I tested positive for opiates (when I KNOW I didn't take any illicit drugs) and on some others, I tested positive for oxycodone AND opiates (when I know I took oxycodone or roxys).. What's the difference in opiates and oxycodone and why would I test positive for opiates when I haven't used any drugs? ## I have the same problem. I was prescribed 5/325mg of oxycodone for when I have headaches and for a month I have been depending on a half of one EVERYNIGHT to go to sleep or I cant sleep. I had back surgery and was taking 15mg of Oxycodone and I took 8mg of suboxone for 3 days thinking I would be ok but my back is in so much pain. There are so many fake oxycondones out right now!!! I'm from Baltimore Maryland but am now residing in south Florida on the treasue coast. Baltimore has a lot of fake ones especially mbox 30s those are always a red flag to me anywhere. I'm not 100% sure but someone told me that the pharmacy doesn't even make them anymore and if they give them to u they are left overs. But everyone has them. I'm taking suboxone for addition of opiates, but I ran out of my strips. If I take a 5 mg percocet today which is Saturday and I have a urine test on Tuesday will it still be in my system? ## No because ur going to pee a lot over that time frame from then till tuesday.

I found this pill in our closet under one of my husbands hats. It was chipped at little bit. He said he had no idea and doesn't even know what I'm talking about. I asked him who else put it there? His response was I don't know maybe the dog did. He got defensive and said don't keep pressing this, I've already told you I don't know anything about it. I have never taken roxy and you know that. He has had an addiction a long time ago so it really worries me that he is lying? Should I be worried? Also if he was doing pills why would he put it where I could easily find it? My dr now has to drug test me before every visit or says he can't prescribe my Oxycodone 30mg four times daily. Last month he said I failed the test for the Oxy but came up positive for Hydrocodone. There's positively no way this could have happened. I was prescribed Oxycodone 30mg instant release for years everyone knows them the famous "Blues" I was on them for about 4 years. They were easy to get in Florida I was working there and New Jersey back and forth. I got them from the typical type place see you for 5 min and write you a script. I am trying to find out what the letter "c" and the letter "n" stand for at the beginning of my rx number. Example - n123456 on my oxycodone and for my lomotil, alprazolam and loratab it looks like this Example-c123456. I know the prescriptions are all controlled but my doctor can write refills and call in my "c" prescriptions and I have to have the hard copy written in order to get my "n" prescriptions.
