I had a doctors appointment today and was told I failed a drug test for testing positive for opiates. I am prescribed oxycodone. I am confused as to how if oxycodone is not an opiate did I test positive for opiates. My visit is a difference of 85$ if I have to have another drug screen. I was given a warning and told that my next visit would cost the extra and my urine would then be sent to the lab if I failed again. If so, since this is a regular and recurring prescription, they should be able to order them in for you. Another relevant questions is, how are you going about trying to find them? If you are just calling the pharmacies, rather than going in, with prescription in hand, you are probably not going to get truthful answers. I am prescribed 4 oxycodone 15mg a day i ran out and had taken a oxymorphone 10mg 2 days before my doc appt i did also take 2 oxycodone 10mg the day before and day of my appt and got a drug test. So i have read some comments about the oxycodone metabolizes into oxymorphone so should my levels seem pretty close or will they be able to tell the difference? ## Can pain management tell the difference between Percocet and Roxicodone in a urine test? ## Yes they can by the way it metabolizes. I had surgery about 3 days ago on my throat and the pain is very unbearable, and I was wondering if it is dangerous to take Tylenol with oxycodone? There is a noticeable difference in the pain relief level. Chronic Arthritis has left me virtually an invalid. Without these meds I have extreme difficulty moving and sometimes merely being at rest. I find the same prescription filled with Midlothian mgf to be less effective than the generic manufactured by Alvogen. Is there a difference in the formulation? Is there a possibility the midlothian brand is counterfeit? Prescription filled by Publix, usually from Alvogen but occasional from Midlothian. I've had 6 surgeries since 2010, and I'm having trouble getting meds to help with pain... either in S.C. Or N.C. I am one of the people who need to have the oxycodone in my system for my urine test for a doctor. My last dose of oxycodone was 90 mg of the narcotic Saturday around 8pm. I was under the impression that all countries mark or imprint their pharmaceutical medications with letters or numbers to identify them. Are all countries obligated to imprint their narcotics such as 80 mg oxycodone extended release? ## No, the imprint requirement here is due to U.S. FDA laws, but not every country requires imprints. I am seeking to understand if there are any blood, urine or hair tests that could be used as markers to predict long-term abuse of pharmaceutical drugs such as painkillers, steroids or any other substances? I ask this question because in some countries all drugs can be obtained over the counter without a prescription and are misused. If no pathological tests can be really useful, what other suggestions could be made? For example, liver enzyme tests, etc. Lastly, if it is desired to test for exposure to pharmaceutical drugs in humans or animals, is it only possible to detect by using separate tests e.g tests for steroids, tricyclic antidepressants, oxycodone, methadone etc. Are there any tests based on inactive ingredients?

I've taken Roxicodone for 6 years. This month is the first time I've gotten these. They're just made by a different company. I just took one and they made my pain where I could stand it. I've always gotten the big blue pill marked with 224 or the M blocks or the a215 and these are just as strong as all the others ones! ## Just out of curiosity, what makes you insinuate that they're fake if they work so well? I am scripted oxycodone 5mg 3x day, but for the past 2 months I started taking 80-90mg a day. Last Sunday I decided I needed to stop and taper so I had to drop from 90mg to 10mg a day. It has been 6 days. I can't stop crying. I am hopeless. I don't know if I should just stop the 10mgs or if I should keep tapering down. I don't know why I started taking so much, but I do need it for pain and I do have someone that can monitor the administration of it to me. My question is...when will this end?
