David was mentioning the binders/fillers that are used in the oxycodone. I believe that the binders/fillers are why I am having such a problem with any oxycodone manufactured by KVK Tech. I have gotten bladder infections (no history of this problem), head aches, no pain relief (Major issue, cause what is a pain pill for?), attitude issues that are unreal. I was taking oxycodone 30mg, then the 20mgs, and now I am on oxycodone 10mg for break through pain. I have had problems with all 3 of the oxycodone whenever they are KVK Tech. Changed pharmacies repeatedly and have listed KVK Tech products as "I am allergic". blue has a k-9 on it ## I was prescribed generic 30mg oxycodone recently and the round blue pill scored on one side had K 9 on the scored side no markings on the opposite non-scored side. Worked like any other 30mg oxycodone I had been given in the past. Need to order.....ASAP !!! ## @Tivomama, If you have a true legitimate need for this medication, I have to wonder what's holding you back from just going to see a doctor and obtaining a valid prescription? When you try to order meds like this from off the internet you're not guaranteed to get what you pay for anyways, kinda like taking a shot in the dark. Better to play it safe and at least get something for your pain rather than a pill with unknown ingredients (because they don't always use imprints/markings for ID'ing it) or in some cases, nothing at all (because customs got to it first and will likely send you letter in the mail or appear at your door step to confront you about the felony). I have been taking Oxycodone 10mg NP/12, Zydus brand, for over a year. Last month the pharmacy changed to the K56, KVK tech brand, and they do not help with the pain at all. Zydus brand stops the pain and work find. The KVK don't do a thing. I have a prescription through the VA for Oxycodone. I generally take 8 pills a day for arthritis pain management. The dosage per tablet is 5 mg. I had to do a fasting lab (blood draw and unrinalysis) and per instruction stopped eating at 8pm and drank only water throughout the night and next morning. I awoke at about 4am and had to urinate prior to the lab. Since I hadn't eaten, I did not take my morning dosage until after my lab and had gotten home. For some reason, my test showed no signs of opiates. Because I'm also on pseudofed due to allergies, my screen showed methadone. I take 8 30 mg tablets a day. It is not working as well as It could I have deveveloped a tolerence. What is the max the doc can give me per day in number of pills or miligrams. Regarding KVK Tech oxycodone 30mg / K-9...Garbage! I have serious pain from two separate problems. Bottom line is Walgreens switched from Activis to KVK recently and I noticed the difference within one day, pain waking me more than usual and early withdrawal sensations. I should add that I don't misuse or abuse, all I want is pain relief. I was taking 2 white 5mg oxycodone IR tabs 2x/day but they were only partially useful in reducing my pain. My doctor reluctantly prescribed 2 pink 10 mg oxycodone IR (= 20mg) tabs every 12 hours. The number 048 is on these tabs. I have had them for three days now and I am taking them as prescribed, but they do not seem to work nearly as well as the former 5mg white tabs. Is this an issue that is simply in my head or is there a reason why taking 2 of the pink 10 mg tabs twice a day aren't working like I thought they would? Don't relieve pain. Avoid them, they may have 3 or 4 mg of oxycodone in them, but only the manufacturer in India would know.sarc. ## I am very sorry that this medication didn't work for you, with some slight fluctuations in generics, not all of them work for everyone. However, the manufactured is Caraco, which is under Sun Pharma and they are actually currently based in Detroit, Michigan…not India. And regardless of where a medication is manufactured, if it is approved by the FDA and available in the U.S. it has to meet the same quality and efficacy standards as any other. I had a failed back surgery from a workers comp incident and my original pain doctor had me on 30 mg of oxycodone four times a day, he had left the practice to become a full time anesthesiologist at a hospital, where I live I had a hard time finding pharmacies that could fully fill my prescription so I would hold back the last dew days before my doctors visit so I'd have some invade the pharmacy had to order them. I have taked oxycodone and hydrocodone over the last 30 years due to chronic kidney stones (I have passed, or had removed, well over 50 stones in my lifetime) and a severely scarred ureter on my left side. Often I go several days without having to take a half of a Hydrocodone 5/325. That is my "go to" dose when my side starts to ache, and it usually takes the edge off. If not, I will take another half, or if it seems to be getting worse, an Oxycodone 5mg. They work just fine, but if I take an Oxy near bedtime. I won't get to sleep for about 6 hours. I was just switched from Qualitest oxycodone 15 mg IR to Mylan 15 mg IR because my insurance won't pay for it because the cost went up on Qualitest. My question is I am concerned about the effectiveness of the Mylan oxycodone. I had good pain relief from the Qualitest green pills.
