i need to change medicine from oxycodone way too expensive to something as effective but not as expensive ## There are Morphine equivalents to all the formulations of Oxycodone, the time released, regular release and the instant release. They are all available as generics, so you could ask your doctor about them. I remember when I was on pain management and had a time period where we were switching from on insurance to the other, so there was a break where I had no coverage, the Morphine was less than half what the Oxycodone cost, though it is still not cheap. OC 80 ## This is not manufactured by Ethex, the pills with the OC marking and an additional number on the opposite side are the name brand Oxycontin manufactured by Purdue Pharma. They are the only company that is currently allowed to manufacture the time released form of Oxycodone, to help lower the risk of abuse and diversion. Trying to learn about a new drug I am on ( oxycodone 5mg imm ref capsules ) So far I have not found anything about it . Just these questions. Perhaps I will be have better luck someplace else. Blue 80 mg Tablet with 80 on one side and OC on the other. I put it in my mouth and it started to dissolve instantly. Then I noticed it is blue all the way through. It does not seem to have a protective coating on it and it tastes different than the normal 80 mg OC's.
